You'll eventually reach the point where you need 5* to make more progression, so just go with investing in 5* and 6*, their stats and skills in most cases are better.
But there's still a few 3* and 4* you still invest in for the 4* and under CoT challenges, like Valkia, Didi, Estella, etc

They just need to nerf his spirit gen so it's not so extreme. One bar is okay. 3 bars are not.

Virgil is easily on par with bell from a stat perspective.
Virgils Odin power is only 40% attack buff while hers is 70% attack, but keep in mind he is "only" a healer. On top of being one of the hardest hitting leaders in the game, he can also equip IC and generates unlimited spirit for the team, plus revives dead people just by breathing.
He is a legendary player disguised as a 5*.

IC is getting nerfed. And Virgil's totem is lackluster compared to Avnore/Miho/Ardor Healer guy's.
I do agree his spirit gen should be a flat 1.5 bar instead of 2-2.5bar which is absurd.
With 1.5 bar, he won't be able to heal right away when you run him with active block GK unless he also penetrate mid or you have at least 2 bar spirit already.
