Anders redesign isn't the one that bugs me, it's Cutter's. I think Cutter's original model had the more believable face. The original had more facial detail and depth to it than the current one does. To me, the new face looks like the very cartoon character they were trying to stray away from.

But both of those aren't completely true. In Halo 2 you are following the Prophet of Regret through a portal the Covenant intentionally opened to that Halo. In Halo 4 you were sent there by Mendicant Bias after that shit with the Ark went down. Probably. The terminals in Halo 3 hint at it, and I guess the novels about the forerunners also mention it a bit.

Typically I just let my units attack the enemies at random, and only select them to pick a specific enemy unit and press Y on it. I spend the rest of the battle dropping in shit and building new units to direct towards combat.
The bulk of my armies are marines though, and with the amount of minibases and full bases I can have it's very quick to build large amounts of marines by splitting the load over all my bases equally.
Seriously, not enough people realise you can train units from more than one facility at a time. I wipe away enemies because they try to train an entire army out of one garage or barracks.
