I came up with an active that lets you pick one of the colors you have on board and swap with another one that's also on board (i.e. you have 8 water orbs and 2 light orbs, you activate the skill, touch a single water orb and then touch a single light orb, and they all get swapped). Sounded pretty balanced to me.

Not for Sumire. Kamui's active fixes Skuld boards and is usually stronger. The two machines contribute haste when used and can inherit a bind clear active.
The enhances she has contribute pitiful amounts of damage, her stats are barely passable for a pantheon god, and as an extra kick in the nuts she has no SB or SBR just like Kamui.

I don't get it. 4 turns means you can use her every 2 turns if you activate 2 hastes, she's also a better candidate for inheritance than the other stuff you mentioned and her awakenings are optimal. If you got the rest of the team you're already at 100% sbr anyway. Only legit replacement would be kamui for his skuld board fix but you can still use nut plus a sumire to the same effect most likely.

You can also have WoodR/WaterR/DarkR/2 SDR (in that order, in case you put on a 3rd SDR) but you should have one sub as a dedicated rainbow resist latent lackey anyway. I honestly don't think HP or ATK is better than RCV on her at all, don't do those. Autoheal is a joke.

None of them are ideal. Inheriting a bind clear on a bindable is worthless. She's nice for inheriting other utility. No SB is annoying in solo, since you'll end up with 5.
Her 4 enhance orbs only add 10-12% at best case in that Sumire party. Not enough to forgo a boost when you need one. She also contributes nothing to your other requirement like haste does, and doesn't bring the unbindable utility.
It's sad because as much as I wanted to use Nut she just can't compete for my teams. Here's to Awoken Andromeda hopefully coming out with haste before Sumire is powercreeped out.

You definitely don't need it, but it is an additional burden to not have it. If you have Baal, Bride Satsuki, or the crows dude it's a waste to not cover it since those subs offer good benefits in their own right. Yes, mathematically it 'only' turns near guaranteed into Horus rates on normal boards, but it does make you curse now and then if you are loaded on changers that touch two colors. I would rather go without dark than use Hera or Defoud.
Wukong has great stats/double change/awakenings, but it's unfortunate that he changes away the only color other than light that you want to save along with the color that nearly every light changer targets. There are many subs I'd prefer if I had them.

You get extra damage even if you have no enhances awakenings. They just add more. Her main problem is that she just adds damageand cutein a team that lacks neither. Her active is poor and stats are decent at best in DQXQ. Most teams are at the point where you benefit more from enhance awokens anyway until you get 5.

That's mostly just Black Mist's meme builds for Arena, which are the most well known.
The earliest team I can recall that uses those meme resist dragons is the one with DFagan cheesing Hera Rush, which far predates his Arena 1 challenge mode cheese clear.
