One thing I forgot to talk about until now is vanilla bug fixes. I fixed one with bureaucrats that made more difficult for them to promote to capitalists and find out the same thing happened for artisans. So both have an easier time promoting now if the conditions are right.
The other one was a bug that stopped pops from demanding the "good minimum wage" reform, which in turn made the AI never take it. Now pops will push for all minimum wage reforms and the AI will use them all. So there will be a little more money to buy stuff now.
There was a few bugfixes in HPM too, the decision for Kazakhstan to move their capital was firing non stop because the capital isn't moved to the right place. Still can't figure out what's wrong with that, maybe decisions have a limit of number of effects they can have. Needs more testing.

Since the "safety regulations" legislation also involved indemnity for accidents, I guess I could keep the effects and to avoid people being poorer I could add a small pensions increase according to reform level. What about the needs effects for pops though, the main thing I want to get rid off? Should pops consume less, more? Should it change at all? I guess the last reform could increase pop growth ever so slightly as people aren't dying left and right, but that would be kinda OP. Would be doable if it was scaled with pensions spending but that can't be done.

Yeah; the music defs are easily cross-compatible; they got at least that right. So long as there's no file name collisions they should always be cross compatible (there's one song name collision, erika, but it's the same song for the same country so it doesn't really matter, just throws an error in the logs)

Why are the japanese so stupid? I invaded France through Belgium and allowed the Netherlands to live so I could trade rubber with them. They were supplying all the axis forces including the Japanese with tons of rubber. Then out of the blue the Japanese attack the Netherlands, making them join the allies and subsequently killing the axis production of planes and cars. Where can I find a new supply of rubber?

Could you explain the problem a bit further? Some mod you downloaded doesn't work? Which /gsg/ mod, the general changes mod?
There are likely one of a few problems:
1) they didn't realize it needs to be ogg. simple enough to fix.
2) they wrote their .asset file wrong or didn't write one at all. simple to fix.
3) they wrote their songs.txt wrong or didn't write one at all. Harder to fix, but depending on what you want simple enough.

Just my own personal recommendations, but how about removing the longer 7min+ orchestral pieces. I don't dislike the music, but when playing the game you often stop paying attention to them or become bored of them. Shorter music is more engaging and noticeable.
