but whenever i shoot an arrow at Genji, even though I've seen the arrow impact his model, he always deflects right as it hits him on my screen, due to latency or whatever other factor, and the arrow is magically redirected back to me, usually killing me.

It's fun, but if you're already enjoying the game on your own you're not missing a great deal I'd say. I played TF2 on a private server with regular voice chat for a long time and while it was cool and all I kept going back to play solo. I've yet to play OW in a group not only because I'm antisocial, but because I don't feel like it.
