What planes do you fly? The most important thing about shooting is learning how to lead your guns.
Also, I'd say a good way to learn that is to not shoot every gun at once.
And, you can learn a bit by looking at other people playing. My personal recommendation is Bo Time Gaming/Bohica Ice on YT. The guy is genuinely good at playing planes and isn't an annoying e-celeb with an overplayed schtick.

Tier 1 and 2 are populated by new players. Rarely anyone stays there, most just passing through.
Tier 3 is when things get interesting, and there's enough variety to stay in, which is why you're far more likely to meet experienced players.
