And yes, I think I am doing it the correct way. At least, that's how I'm trying to get the atk address, by changing the weapons. But there doesn't seem to be any address that has the correct value.
For example, when Saki has the Wooden Stick she has an Atk of 38 (77 for CE) and changing it to Dagger gives her an Atk of 41 (83) but no address has that value. Even if changing to the Dragon Sword (79, 159 for CE), there is no address that had all of those. At first, I was searching for exact values but no matter what search type I use, it doesn't help.

I Didn't want to give file names and such in my first post because people would usually skip them, and the game crashes as I start it so there's probably more files missing after this one.
The file name and directory is "Graphics/Characters/00セーラー服" and I assume it's not an RTP file because I have all of the available RTPs installed, and it doesn't specifically say any RTP is missing.

In his defense, the bottom option is usually the quit button, but always click all the options on the main menu before you ask this kind of thing or people will rightly make fun of you.

Yeah.
There's no files in the Graphics/Characters folder at all so I'm not suffering from mis-translated files or whatever the name for that is. The files in that folder and straight up not there. Also, I unpacked the game file and there is no character folder in the games encrypted files either.
Is it possible to switch main characters in VH without debugging?
