It is actually not significantly harder to hit Winston in the face compared to D.Va because of his hunched over posture.
The actual difference maker is that Winston slaps down a 600 hp barrier in between his target and the people trying to peel him off his target. Since most dps in the game is between 100-200 a second, this means he usually gets a kill and a booster refresh before they get through both his barrier and hp.

The critbox thing is legitimately a problem because she has to stick herself in place to attack, and she and Winston fulfill basically the same role while Winston does it better because he's more mobile while attacking

You get a bit more range and damage on the explosion, but it's far easier to dodge since it's a fire and forget weapon with a timed fuse rather than a guided one with a triggered detonation. Even the warning on Dva's is more blatant, since you can see the exclamation point through cover, so you know it's coming.

You can't do jack shit if there's a good Roadhog/McRee on the enemy side.
Ultimate's really useless other than saving yourself from death, at the cost of even more shitty damage with knockback that's only really useful on environment kills

I managed to get a non-nuke POTG earlier today. Cornered a guy to headshot him to death, helped gun a second guy down, and finished off an ulting Genji.
I believe you get extra "POTG points" if you do stuff on the objective, so you could get one from several kills there.
I've been trying to get tricky with my mech throws. Sending it flying over a building or something so they have a second or two to react at best. It gives me POTG like ten percent of the time.
Another thing you can do is try to predict their mercy rez. They'll rarely have time to get behind cover since they're stuck in the animation. Even if she just rezzed it can be a good time to drop it, although it depends on the terrain. The final points on Hanamura or Gibraltar would be prime. This was how I got cute D.Va.

Flank noons / area denial noons are the best. Getting behind the enemy team on their final push in the final seconds of the game and getting a quad noon is satisfying as hell. Offensively you can do the same thing by standing on the payload or behind it to make sure no one contests it. Generally great in wide spaced areas where there's less cover for the opponent to run to.

For High Noon I've seen Dorado and Hollywood as the most effective since you can sneak to a high point above or behind the enemies moving the payload.

Torb's Turret should:
-Die if he dies
-Swivel in a wide arc and only target those it sees at the time, like gun cameras in any other game
They are psychic and will swivel anywhere you come from. If you sneak up behind one and Torbjorn isn't there guarding his turret, you have earner destroying it.
Torb can set it and forget it, essentially adding another player to his team while he goes and fights elsewhere.
If they were less psychic it would be less of a problem. Or if you killed him it deactivated it until he respawned or killed it or something.

I had a game where a Reinhardt and a Reaper carried hard, I just supported them as Lucio providing barriers and heals and speed boosts, and we had 2 absolute muffins in the team.
Never showing in killfeeds, one constantly changing heroes and shooting walls, generally doing nothing at all.
It was so unfair for that Rein and Reaper. They fucking tried, they got the Hanamura B into overtime basically by themselves not counting my barrier and healing amp.
And we got wrecked by Zarya+Pharah ult and lost, because enemy team knew when to pull back and knew how to combo ults.

The trouble with flankers and snipers and other "glass cannon" types is that it's very very obvious when someone is doing well or not doing well. Is the flanker getting lots of kills? Is the sniper hitting lots of arrows/bullets? Then he's doing fine.
It's less obvious when a Reinhardt or a Mercy is retarded. Sometimes it won't be obvious why you're losing a game, but I notice that the Mercy is staying just a bit too far ahead in the front line rather than staying back. Whenever shit starts she's always one of the first to die and then the fight keeps going for 30 seconds until we lose it. I notice that the shitty Mercy is why we're losing, but just a quick glance at the scoreboard won't tell someone that. Our Reinhardt has no idea that charge can be used to retreat, so if he gets caught out he just holds up his shield until he gets punched to death. It's not an instant loss but it's generally shitty play and we will lose even if everyone else is doing fine. It's not obvious though so nobody will yell at the Reinhardt for being shit.

We have one guy who won't touch tanks or support, just Hanzo, Widow, Genji, Mei, and once in a blue moon he might play Junkrat or Reaper. He sometimes does well, but most of the time he isn't working with the team and just playing for good stats. The worst part is that he'll start whining about other classes killing him consistently and asks us to change classes to deal with it, when he could either do it himself if he was playing any good (him playing Widow and getting killed by Pharah), or he could just change his damn class to something useful.
Then there's a Reinhardt main who spends most of his time charging at the enemy and disrupting them at their back lines. It works really well sometimes, particularly on KOTH, but just as often it'll end up putting us in a bad position because we don't have him shielding our advance.
I know they play for fun, but god damn, sometimes I just want to leave the group and play solo just so I don't have to deal with them being stubborn shits.

Why is my team consistently worse than their team? How can a single Torb stop the entirety of my team from every progressing, but turrets on my team get destroyed the moment a single enemy sees them? How come Mercys on my team get hunted down and killed in the middle of the team with no one touching them while Mercys on the enemy team get 5 man revives consistently? How do Widowmakers on the enemy team manage to singlehandedly hold points while Widowmakers on my team can't kill fucking Pharah? How does this happen EVERY SINGLE GAME?

Play Roadhog, with the slightest amount of awareness you can hook him and stuff his face with 500+ damage before he can do anything, winning nearly every encounter with him.Unless they have Zarya too, then abandon all hope

I'm...not that good at competitive FPS games. I mean I can aim, move semi-intelligently, not shoot my teammates, etc. I'm also capable of wiping my own ass and breathing through my nose.
But, well, I can't 420 noscope tomahawk from across the map. I mean, I don't just sprint down machine gun fire or stand still in giant open areas or anything, but I'm not really GOOD.
