Actually the best thing to do is save up some team wipe ults like Pharah's. Having Mercy/Lucio pair is great because Lucio can speedboost amp to move your asses into position and then you spam your saved ults while Mercy does the spot healing. Matchmaking is utter shit. It averages the MMR's of teams so you can get 2 great players and 4 super shitters vs 6 decent players.
Both teams have a similar MMR average after all, so obviously both have an equal shot at winning.
If it actually worked, shitters would play with shitters against shitters and good players - with good players against good players.
It's not like this in the slightest. Most of the time one team stomps the other, and even if not there's at least 3 players in the match who're way below the "average" skill level in the match.

it's because the potg system works on damage and not elimination, despite the zarya got 2 last hits to the pharah's one, the pharah did more damage so she got higher priority in the potg system, this is also why bastion turret form, torb turrets, junkrat tire and other high damage ultimates often score potg. It's meant to stop people getting potg by scoring eliminations off of someone else's hard work, but more often than not it works the other way around, screwing over the person who set the play up, and giving it to someone who just spammed damage in its general direction.

see above. most McCree players can't into looking up and I regularly destroy them with Pharah. Roadhog is also good since they choke up when you hook them and a single shotgun blast is all you need.
