Note that I'm talking about the xp outfit, not the one that is on promotion today.
So I was under the impression that you could use any style in the kiln waves preceding Haraken, and that as long as you used the style for the cape you wanted on Haraken you'd be offered that cape. However, last night I mixed styles up to wave 37 where I used ranged exclusively, but I still got offered the magic cape. So was I misinformed about only needing the appropriate style at the last wave, or did I do something else wrong?

I started playing again about a week ago having not played for about a decade. I fancied a bit of a nostalgia trip and checking out what's changed but now I'm a bit hooked.
Anyway, I had to make a new account (and kind of wanted to). At the moment I've been training crafting to 55 to make the slayer helmet and trying to hit combat 90. I feel like crafting is going really slowly because I can't afford to make a loss with only about 1m in the bank. I'm at 34 now and I'm making emerald rings and enchanting them for about a 1k profit but it's very slow. I was looking at making those urns but they don't seem to sell in the GE meaning I'd have to mine all the clay. Anyone got some tips? I have no idea how I got my crafting so high on my old account.

No you get resources which you can make about 120-150k a day from, sometimes more if you get lucky. All you have to do is go there once a day for a couple minutes to keep loyalty/approval rating at max and that you have enough to pay 75k a day in the coffers.
