One thing I liked about The Story of Red Cloud is that it came with a custom-tinkered sandbox map.

Staffs are pretty cool, Sapphire isnt bad, but guns kinda outshine mana items early on. I find breaking shadow orbs to get guns, then farming gold to get a minishark made the difference for me. Just be careful to not break a third orb...

Master Bait is. 50%. You can get it rarely from iron chests, more consistently from biome or gold chests.

didn't play the same way, I farmed ironskin potions, regeneration potions, actually made an arena, put campfires and stars in a bottle, farmed the bloodthorn (which was useless anyways), etc...
Finally managed to beat the EoW but that was after farming 20 of the boss summoning items and getting small amounts of demonite each time by blowing one part each time then dying, managed to make the entire armor set and now I can comfortably beat it. it still feels like there should be a way to beat it before receiving its full armor set and weapons.
and yes the game is dying but I need to remind you that it's a singleplayer game so it really doesn't matter.

Heh, you're right. I do use mods, because I've already played through the out-of-the-box vanilla game, and dealt with all the frustrations and minor annoyances that built up.
Now, the mods make the game merely tedious, but actually fun IMO. The biggest thing I do is nerf the potion cooldown. Nothing like cheesing bosses with a gorillion healing potions.

I prefer to make bridges because then the battle becomes much more streamlined, specially on multiplayer. It just takes a few minutes to build one with builder potions and accessories.

Well, you've certainly dug a bunch of hellevators; that's good, though that many is overkill, I'd say. Just one on each side of the jungle area would be fine.
You probably also want to dig containment tunnels around the corruption areas, roughly shaped like 'em.
For both hellevators and containment tunnels, I try to make 'em as wide as my pickaxe will go (usually ~9 tiles), since corrupt blocks can infect corruptible blocks up to 3 tiles away, and corrupt thorns can grow out of corrupt grass up to 4 tiles away, and infect up to 3 blocks beyond that (7 total). That's for vertical shafts.
For horizontal shafts, pickaxes usually go 5 tiles high. That's fine, thorns don't usually grow on the undersides of corrupt areas, and corrupt vines don't infect nearby blocks at all.

Why do people keep doing this? You only need to protect the surface, the evil biomes take fucking forever to spread anywhere else, even when you break altars. And the jungle nowadays is more protected from this shit that any other biome. You'd need to play 8 hours a day for an entire month in the same world to start noticing the effects of corruption/crimson in the jungle.

This little fucker finally dropped. My last item for the pirate army. Yes, i did clean my inventory later because i had to sell the trash the pirates dropped and put my weapons away i didn't need anymore.

Do you literally stand in place and shoot at him or something? Pop a swiftness potion and plant some sunflowers, that will help you gain enough mobility to dodge him more. I always use frost fire arrows and the flare gun to set him two kinds of on fire for extra damage - it becomes hard to land a hit when he is darting around all over the place to the damage over time is helpful.
Once you get a vilethorn you can fuck up the eater of worlds easy as hell, and you don't even have to actually score a kill on it anyway to make all of his shit. Hell, he is pretty much the first boss I can ever put on farm status because you don't even have to build anything for him.
Always remember to use campfires and heart lanterns, and remember to chug some potions for each fight too. They all add up and help out a lot.

I built an arena for Fishron in one of my oceans, went and did something else for a little while, came back, and the whole thing was Crimson. I isolated the ocean and purified the whole thing, went and did something else for a while, came back, AND IT WAS CRIMSON AGAIN. I had to completely abandon it to the blood jellies and fight Fishron on the other side of the word.

What's the best way to avoid the whole preserve the jungle from crimson/corruption bullshit?
I want to make a world where i don't need to worry about it, but every time i make one the crimson ends up in the middle of the jungle. I know to save before WoF to make sure the hallow lines goes for the side with the jungle, but is there an easier way for world gen? Any programs that can help with that?

It's fun, but progression is slower than the desktop version.
Also, there's only 5 hotbar spots, and hooks only work If they're in the hotbar.

Just stack movement/defense accessories. Does slapping down campfires/heart lanterns/sunflowers count as an arena? Because that and empty space are all you need.
I don't know why you would want to avoid building an arena when all you need is flat ground and a row of platforms. It takes no time at all.

I bought it, haven't played long but it seems very slow paced, might fuck with it a bit more though. Probably end up being garbage like Edge of Space and Planet Centauri.
It's pretty insane, the Terraria formula is so fucking simple, yet the only clone that comes even remotely close to being playable is Starbound, and that game is shit. Everyone who tries to copy Terraria just fucks up in a huge way somehow.
