The thing is, it's ridiculously easy. McCrees should not be getting commendations for lots of fan kills - it's literally the easiest way to kill any character in the entire game.
Things like deflect kills or pins or successful plasma bomb sticks show at least some level of skill. Fan the hammer kills just show that the player knows how to press E and right click. It's an award for doing the simplest thing ever.

Hanzo players just spam fully charged arrows in your general direction at head level. Best way to deal with Hanzo is to not fight him or kill him very quickly with something like McCree. When Hanzo is aware of you you have a high chance to die just because his arrows are large as trucks and hit with the same strength. I can't count the amount of times I had a Hanzo almost dead and he just pulled a clutch arrow shot at some random direction that hit my face and killed me.

This goes on for a while, with humans getting seriously fucked by the sheer industrial capacity of these things, until the US enhanced soldier project teams up with a bunch of agents from around the world to form a specialized strike team capable of effective asymmetrical warfare against the machines. Eventually the war ends, with most of the omniums seemingly shut down or destroyed, but the omnic population granted citizenship rights in many places. Recognizing the effectiveness of this weird strike team that they'd put together, the UN creates Overwatch, an independent force for conflict resolution. For a while, shit is good.
Problem is, by putting Jack Morrison (76) in charge, they fucked up a bit, because his friend Gabriel Reyes and the original leader of the strike team got immensely butthurt at being passed over. Put in charge of Blackwatch, the covert ops division of Overwatch, he slowly became more secretive, erratic, and brutal, and eventually this tore the organization apart, tarnishing its good name and resulting in its official dismantling. Morrison and Reyes got so mad at each other they had a climactic gunfight that destroyed Overwatch's HQ.
Skip a decade or so ahead and most of the former Overwatch agents are doing their own thing. But tensions between omnics and humans are rising once again, with someone seemingly agitating shit, and eventually we get to the point of Recall, where Winston sends out a "let's get shit done" signal to the former Overwatch agents.

Well not exactly. holidays and stuff. It's more like 24 hours of work's worth on g2a so that would be 3 days. Point is I didnt get quite as much as I wanted and now Im having to choose between a game from a good developer that I have never played but everyone says is great, and a game from a shit publisher that everybody says is eh-ok but I played its beta and I liked it sorta (Overwatch or R6:Siege)
