How the hell am I supposed to defend shit from infinite respawning people with 60+ explosives on them that get some free shots in every time they respawn? That's not even factoring in the one guy in a hydra who, even if you kill, will more than likely get a single rocket off which is enough to fail the mission.
Attacks have such an absurd advantage that it's laughable.
I managed to get a few crates because people were attacking a CEO who was trying to buy multiple and I was doing one at a time, but that hardly counts.
Update would be perfect if:

Rockstar have their entire system geared up to force you into microtransactions and it's actually incredible. The fastest way to make legit money is taking a 55% cut take of pacific standard. Even the fatcats aren't making decent money in this update. The payouts are fucking ass regardless. People don't factor in the initial crate purchases when calculating how much money they make per hour. They also don't factor in how much money they wasted to start the business in the first place. You'll be playing for 2-3 weeks of boring gameplay before you even break even, and at that point you're still not making as much money as heists.

Sometimes you don't want to blow up the car you're shooting at. Say you're playing a mission that requires taking a destructible objective like a briefcase or drugs. You're shooting your AP pistol at the thugs who are hiding behind cars. A car blows up, starts a chain reaction, destroys the objective.
