I was using my mic every game for a while until I realized the average game only has 2 people in the channel, me and one other person. It's such a fucking waste of effort to try to communicate with your teams in this game. Also why in the FUCK do people use discord servers when the in-game chat works flawlessly? Additional rage: why does the game leave the groups in group chat instead of moving them over to team chat? Fuck this bullshit.

A Widow is better if you have the aim, Hanzo can get closer though and has more spam frequency.
He has more consistent scouting with his recon arrow or whatever it's called and his scatter arrow can actually insta-gib a lot of heroes.
If you don't use his ult retardely (i.e. right in plan view of the enemy) it can destroy people, make sure you use that shit to go through a wall and actually surprise people.

It essentially turns it into a buck-shot arrow, which, like I said, insta-gibs a lot of heroes (up to 375 damage), if you shoot it at someone directly it only does the damage of a regular arrow.

It actually charges in less than half a minute if you're constantly healing hurt allies, which makes pushing based on Mercy Ult advantage a near impossibility since it takes too long, or rather, nowhere near fast enough, to set up for another team push based on your Mercy having a res and them not having one.
I also feel like she heals too much too quickly. 50 health/sec is insane.

A short-duration, single-target blinding shot on her pistol's M2 that made you reload afterward (so you couldn't just hit people with it and then dome them) could be nice.
Also make her ult raise everyone at 1/4 (or less) HP instantly when activated, then restore the rest (interruptibly) while she does the animation, to make suicide diving less viable/obligatory.
It'd have to be both, because any buff that leaves her ult as braindead as it is now is going to make her too good.

In Star Wars Battlefront I was always engineer, so I could repair our tanks, throw ammo and heals at people
In Battlefield I always played assault with a defib and a medkit. I'd risk myself to sprint through fire and revive downed comrades
I play medic on Tf2
I play healers on MMO's
I just like healing people. It makes me happy to sacrafice for my team.
The only times I don't play direct healing classes is on TTRPG. I like playing Paladin and smiting the evils of the world.
Naturally then if I don't play Mercy I play Phara or Reinhardt, two characters with strong alignments for Good.

the slowing effect from her turrets makes defending capture points a nightmare and pretty much shut down all flanking characters if the team is paying attention and capitalizes on the debuff in time. and her teleporter is just as effective in bringing allies back to the front line as the TF2 Engineer's, not sure why I don't see more people try it.
she's just not as useful for actually pushing forward, but she can still chip in there with her alt fire.
