Porting is slow work
So many little differences between servers
Seeing more than 200 errors is discouraging sometimes, but in some ways it is a relief to slowly work through them. Thirty here, twenty there. It will be done in time.

I didn't like their implementation of glands though. There's no reason to have a snowflake surgery for it or even to have it as a subtype of organ. You can just use the current implant surgery we have now and have them process inside regardless.
TG has all kinds of little differences as to how they spawn atmos, handle vomit, and even interact with machines. It adds up to a lot of work. They have action datums which are cool but would be a ton of work to port, so I have to hack the functions back into our code.

/tg/ is a murder house deathmatch. You're going to be dealing with so many people who don't actually do their jobs, and instead rush to get the closest weapons then beat down as many people as they can.

Hippie station has sort of the same community as vg, but it's larger, the admins are less friendly, and the players have a murderboning problem.
Goonstation is basically Reddit: the server.
Yogstation is goonstation with less people, more ARPEE, and a shittier community
Colonial marines is actually really fun, mainly because of how different it is. The admins are bad, but the player base is diverse enough that you'll find some non autists tometafriend

I don't like how NT is seemingly the only big company in ss13, it controls the station, has centcomm and is so powerful it can just bluespace artillery anything on the station in an instant, and never miss the intended target.
Admins should stop abusing the lol bluespace cannot button, it makes no sense that NT has this technology and doesn't use it against confirmed hostiles like wizards, syndicates or revs.
Also there should be obvious advertisements for other companies, make it feel like the universe is actually more than just nanotrasen and the syndicate with different companies, maybe turn the station into a jointly owned station, with various companies owning/supplying various parts of the station. the main problem is we keep nerfing lings because people get butthurt when they get stung and succ. they whined untill para sting was split into silence and "paralysis" stings. you cant take both at roundstart so you need a way to stun, cuff, and or mute your victim or be outed early. our lings have no way to defend themselves besides stings, which only make it easier to be discovered. "THE MIME STUNG ME CREMATE HIM"
traitors can buy ebow/esword combo at roundstart and litterally kill everyone on the station. 1 ebow bolt, and a few esword hits can kill before they can type, and even if they do manage to say something, the radiation damage muffles their speech or they can just get a signal jammer to stop the cries for help.
but lings are limited to silence sting + makeshift prod/flash + cable cuffs OR para sting + lucky (lag and BYOND ticks) enough to remove headset before they start screaming + cuffs. then they have to fiddle with picking up the victims headset / dropped items, drag the victim somewhere quiet to SUCC for 5 minuets , then dispose of the husk discreetly.
the real problem here is, we keep trying to balance game modes around traitor when we should focus on making game modes more unique. traitors should just be normal humans with access to lots of illegal tools and weapons to complete the objective given by the syndicate.
lings should be horrific alien monsters that plays with its morphology like clay. It should be all but impossible to kill a ling with conventional methods. They should be the most effective killing machines while completely naked.
Ling should be able to ,instead of absorbing, use some genomes to infect and assimilate victims to keep players in round and add new antags. Lings need more ways to survive a fight such as splitting body parts into mobs and ventcrawling away as a headcrab (norris) or maybe some sort of auto-cloner fleshy mass they can make and hide somewhere safe.

Lings should still be able to fuck over other lings for their precious genomes. If your a solitary ling in a tatorling round it may be better to make a single ling-bro to help divert attention and bail you out in a pinch. If their are already multiple lings, they CAN try to assimilate the entire station at the cost of limiting their ling powers. They could always just eat their own babies to regain the genomes to use in horror form. Assimilation should just a TOOL for lings to survive and cause confusion and parinoia

You can choose to follow space law though. You just have to follow your silicons law first, but reporting crimes as AI and arresting criminals who don't order you to let them go is a-ok.
I don't report non-human-related-violent crimes as AI though, because I enjoy watching people fuck themselves over way more than actually helping. Or watch people think they're being sneaky.

You're not responsible for the actions of things you create though. It's the same as potential harm, potential involvement would wreck mommis to the point where they couldn't do anything. "What if someone uses the black hole I just created to kill everyone" "What if someone turns off the cooling on the engine I just created to kill everyone". A similar scenario would be a mommi creating a shitload of guns and leaving them laying around in its nest or maint. Is that involvement ? It's not giving them to anyone, it's just leaving them on the ground. As to answer why would it be creating a bunch of guns in the first place ? There's nothing in its laws stating it can't, other than it could potentially lead to indirect involvement.

Keeper doesnt prevent a mommi on keeper from finding an emag and using it on another keeper mommi. Once the 2nd mommi is emaged it is slaved to the first mommi and loses its keeper set. However the first mommi is still on keeper and therefore cannot interact with the now emaged mommi. The emaged mommi is basically free to do whatever. But if thet try to emag the first mommi, that mommi is lawbound to try their best to avoid any interactions with non keeper entities including being emaged. If they just stand still to be emaged they risk a jobban. Its a shitty situation for both parties. We had a simular argument over regular traitors an emaging mommis. Whether avoiding or staying still to be emaged was considered "interfereing" with non keepers was still being debated. I guess the best way to work around that "paradox" would be to completely ignore everyone. That's what I do. I just act like they aren't there (unless we're talking exposing people to dangerous environments). If what I'm doing involves staying still for a long enough time to get emagged, then so be it. But if I'm busy moving stuff from one side of the station to the other, or going out in space, then I'm not really avoiding the person, thus not involving myself. I'm just doing what I was already doing.
