The problem is OHKO meta was dogshit because it made almost nothing but 3-4 players matter.
But the 6+ shot meta is just as bad because BB fucked matches by making them take for fucking ever by giving everyone and their mother max action speed and action bar recovery up the ass.
Before we had matches occasionally taking 10 minutes real time and going the full 45 match time. Now we have 10+ minute matches as the norm and god fucking help you against Latios/Vergil/retard backline teams that can have damn near 20 minute matches.

As a utility striker user who doesn't use active passers, this is a great patch for me as far as PVP goes. However, I can't say I'm happy about it.
I'm frustrated that BB is using nerfs to balance everything without rebalancing for PVE. These constant nerfs have made COT and COD harder for everyone. Why can't BB use buffs to balance instead? Where is the fabled utility striker buff?
The best patch was when they rebalanced all the legends. They buffed most of them and brought them all more or less in line with each other. That was a good patch, that was balancing they way it was supposed to be done. I wish they could bring that philosophy to all their other balance patches.

I... think this may be the patch that pushes me to bench Blade. I don't even wanna think about how this indirect nerf to her damage is going to hurt her. The new guy is new and S2, so you probably won't see that much of him yet.
Latios is still out of favor, even though she's so horrid to fight against.

The timing of these nerfs is horrific, especially when backlines and healing are so strong right now. These nerfs are pointless if they you don't nerf backlines or DR and really hurts utility strikers who need all the pen they can get.
If you fight Galaxy tier backlines often, they are hard as fuck to break and nerfing passers reduces striker dmg further. Seriously what do they expect us to do against Duran, how am I gonna climb PvP now?

All a testament to sloppy balancing on BBs part. They've been more proactive lately with all the nerfs to meta players and having acquired a good deal of them, I was treading on thin ice from the start. The old recall system would've helped a bunch to recuperate. As it currently is, I don't see who I can replace either Silla or Luka with, if I were to recall them.

Is your team comprised of all 5*?
If yes, sell 4* and below units to get GP to scout superbs for your 5* units. There are only 3 4* units to consider hanging onto, Eden, Valkia and Constance. If they aren't one of those three sell them for GP.

Verister is underrated, her 20% hp/dark reflex team totem is really fucking good, I ran into a 3k reflex Baltheon who had her buff and Silk ace. That's easily the best team totem in the game, it has good synergy with reflex Ravian fronts while also making Meta more potent.

Attacker AI will pen on the frontline, you could run IC Crocell with a utility striker and hope that the paralyze keeps activating when he attacks in. Alternatively if the damage is cut down by a decent amount after the nerfs to assists FTS Crocell could be a viable backline unit.
Those 2 have a potential niche, Asakura is just straight garbage.

Not blanket nerfs. CD went down for active passes. Forward pass and long pass now recover AB, greatly improving their usefulness. And some weaker forward passers got buffs. Nera recovers a massive 100% spirit for example, making her a lot more useful in front. Nari has more reflex and passes for more with normal passes.

Not really liking this patch, yes it's a nerf to annoying units such as Silla and Luka and a buff to other passers too but its also an indirect nerf to strikers without built in pen like Sharr and Hiro. My Sharr already has 0 pen already and this nerf to Silla makes it worse, I can't really use pen stone on Sharr cause I need crit and if I take it off I'm screwed either way cause all of these 180+ CR GKs roaming around, and going up against high DR GKs are going to be living hells, but of course I can't really be selfish so I just wish they would buff Sharr or Hiro even a little bit. I believe in BB!!
