Don't worry, my Warhammer mod will be finished in about a week. I've ported over dozens of models and animations from Total War: Warhammer and several from Skyrim modpacks.
The mod will be focused solely in the Old World, so the landscape has a better sense of realism applied to it and sense of scale.
There will be multiple Empire factions, multiple factions within Bretonnia, Estalia, Tilea, the Border Princes, multiple Norscan tribes (with unique quests that allow you to challenge Chaos corruption of the deep north!), multiple dwarfen factions holding various karaks.
And worry not Elf and Lizardmen lovers, for there are ways they yet exist in the Old World!

either delete the extra lines and change the animation amount number (pic related in red)
or change the other lines to be the same as the normal idle animations
so there's still animation variance but it's all the same animation so it won't look like it

I've just started playing M&B. Stupid question, but how come I can't dedicate a captured castle to a certain lord or king? I just automatically take the castle for myself. Even when I've pledged myself to a particular faction. Is it something to do with the choices I made pre-campaign?

If you were the leader of a siege and you are not the King, you will have the choice to either ask the King for the castle or not ask him.
If you do not ask him then you can attempt to persuade him to grant the fief to someone else.
E.g If I've just captured Buttfuck Castle, don't dedicate it to myself, and after that I tell Count Dickhead, who I'm on good terms with, that I would support him for ownership, I can then tell King Shitbrains that I support Count Dickhead for Buttfuck Castle, and depending on several different factors, he may or may not change his mind and give Dickhead the castle.

I can understand that. Reason I still play Vermintide is because I got friends that will play with me. If I was only playing with pugs, I would have stopped long ago. The loot system, I feel, is a little better than usual, considering that there are options to improve your chances of getting good loot and loot for a specific character. Can also break down items to either get gems (which can go towards creating a certain item of your choice) or fusing a bunch of weapons together to get a higher-tier one. Again, not a great system, but one I can tolerate, especially when I'm playing the game with friends.
Then again, I'm comparing the loot system to something like PAYDAY 2. Fuck those cards at the end of a mission. Seriously.
Never played War of the Roses. Did they fuck up with advertising for WotR, too? Vermintide isn't very popular thanks to those swedes not knowing how to advertise.

I'm playing ACOK 2.2 and I've run into a serious problem:
There are no wars.
Early on there were wars of course. But right now I'm coming up on Day 1000 and the entire realm is at peace. Volantis has conquered every city in Essos, save for Norvos with whom they have an ever ending peace pact. The Westerlands, Iron Islands and Dragonstone have all been eliminated.
Even though I'm close to a thousand ingame days I have yet to participate in any war. At first I was a Storm Lands man-at-arms, then I threw in with the Westerlands and became a vassal which was a mistake so I left them, then I got a mercenary contract with the North who were at war with nobody. The only thing for me to do was sail up and down the Narrow Sea pillaging every single caravan from the Stormlands, Reach and Vale. But because I didn't realize I could deposit cash in the Iron Bank and collect interest I just ran around with it and lost most of it when the people I pissed off came after me and kicked my ass.
Now I've fallen in with Volantis and got suckered into being a vassal. While I was running around Westeros being a pirate they conquered Essos, meaning I missed out on tons of spoils. Now I'm just grinding my ass off in tournaments, putting cash in the Iron Bank and creating business ventures in the first cities whose lords I haven't totally alienated.
Is there anyway I can spark a conflict between two factions? I've started attacking caravans from the Stormlands and Reach again, will that eventually lead to war?
Or should I just start a new game and get in on the ground floor. Because right now this game is boring as fuck.

In my last semester I barely passed after not submitting a bunch of assignments (one worth 1/3 of an entire course) and doing all the others at the last minute. And when I say last minute, I mean mostly before midnight 3 days after the deadline because you could submit late and your mark gets progressively capped at a lower amount. I was a nervous wreck the whole time, going through constant anxiety and guilt that prevented me enjoying myself but still never managing to get my shit together and do my work except when it couldn't be left any later.

i don't think cavalry wielded pistols till the wheellock came about due to the obvious advantages of the locking system

The way they look is the first thing. Secondly marring someone whos father/brother is strong can make a great ally. I married a girl whos father was a duke and he defected to me almost immediately.
Bannerlord wait is killing me. I hope it has boats, ships and longboats, so I can re-enact my favourite playtrough of Floris in it.
I recruited only from nords, bought boats after a while and started raiding everything that was not nord. Caravans, towns and lightly defended castles. I sought and found weaker nobles of many kingdoms and captured them.
I never went too far from water, so I always had a way to escape from superior numbers.
I'm fairly sure I caused the Nords a large number of victories. And for that I was rewarded my own keep and holdings amongst Nord lords.
And that is kinda where my gameplay ended. All coasts were conquered, rivers were a bitch to traverse as they seemed to bug out constantly and Nords seemed to win eventually, no matter what I did.

That would be a shitty game, Khergits are painful when assaulting castles.
After trying all M&Bs plus Caribbean the last few weeks, I'll stick with Fire&Sword.

>Second siege: 250 vs 1600
>Goes like that till 230 vs 500
>All out of food

>Enemies flee again after two sieges (229 vs 380 now)

>229 vs 300
>Win without losing a single soldier
And all that on max difficulty, I love it. Three companions and own character were just above red health all the time though. Really adrenaline inducing.
