Why the fuck it's so hard. By the time I reach lair everything hurts my ass so hard it's not even fun. In my best run I had to worship Ely to be able to deal with hydras and have a shitty heal that's actually not so bad when you have 50 hp.
Then I reached slimes entrance and there was no altar. So I dived into pits, logical solution. I got killed once on pit:6 because my stealth failed just when I was sneaking past TRJ, and died again after converting because and acidic blob was too retarded to see I was worshipping his god and blasted me with acid.
Long story short: Lair:7 is too hard for a Fe at xl10, so I died after 10 steps outside pits. Send help.

I got to gehennom twice unspoiled. I quit both times though. Once I dropped the Bell somewhere without knowing I needed it. The other time I did not hhave enough candles to light the candelabrum having used tons before. I didn't know how to teleport level either so going backto minetown would be a chore.
After spoiling myself I won the first time I played a samurai. (Though I did escape in celestial disgrace once before that since I didn't realize that the altar was non-lawful)

The arena is easily one of the worst places, but also one of the easiest to cheese with the right combo since you are allowed to heal yourself if it's one of your spells.
