WHEELING01 (standard) and WHEELING03 (vertical), OSAGE03 (vertical), CHEYENNE02, SALINE05, 061ANCM (all spread), all VTF missiles, and the MP-O200I and MP-O203 for scatter missiles. The 203 is kind of OP. Both PM missiles are also good.
Since you usually use medium ACs be careful about putting the WHEELING03 on since it's heavy.

For the genocide route, make sure you have an AC that either slightly recovers energy or just doesn't drain energy while gliding. It will make things much easier.
Also quickboosting left and right in basically one position will get you killed, commit to a direction when dodging and watch that energy.

Either 4 or V will work, but 4's single player is less grindy.

All of your choices differ from the old games a lot. They're not bad, but be aware of that. 4 is quite a bit faster, although not to the level of For Answer, and 5/VD plays more deliberate and doesn't allow for free 3d flight anymore. Jumping is the only way to gain height, no upward boost. And compared to their respective sequels 4 and 5 are both a little rough around the edges. Get VD if you want multiplayer.
