Game's a lot of fun. It's a bit barebones at the moment, but once balance patches hit I can easily see myself playing as much as or more than TF2, which I have over 3k hours in and dropped for OW. I'm not sure why it's got such a low user score, but it's a very fun game if a little aggravating due to certain heroes.

I just got done playing a pretty strange game. Was playing solo and my teammates all chose torbjorn, so I decided to just fuck around as symmetra. The other team had absolutely no idea what to do. I littered my turrets all around torb's turrets and the control point, their genji couldn't do shit. They ended up switching to a reinhardt + bastion + mercy comp but my alt fire kept forcing the bastion to get up and move. Is there any way they could have countered this? Were they just shit?

It's called lag compensation as the server predicts where you and he is for the high ping player to reduce stutter.
Unfair cases:
For instance, if a high ping player is camping in a corner and waiting for for you to show up who has low ping, the server will send a
'ghost' player model infront of you that only he can see, meaning he is now gonna see you popping out of the corner before you actually do and shoot you meaning he has advantage and can shoot first.
Now if it's reverse situation, you'd expect the same right? WRONG.
Again, his clockrate will be ahead of yours to compensate for his bad ping (i.e he receives everyones predictions earlier to reduce stutter)
and peek into your corner and shoot you before you can react.
Basically the higher ping player will play against the servers predictions or your 'ghosts' meaning he will always jump out of a corner and shoot you EVERY. SINGLE. TIME before you can react.

Depends, you can do this in CSGO since clockcorrection is sv_cvar protected meaning once the server gives you a high clockrate, you cannot manually change it back unless you restart the game.
I suspect you can use netlimiter, set your ping to 100ms and then queue for a match -> remove limit and then play normally whilst getting everyones info ahead.
Remember even if you lagg, you will still get kills as long as you hit their playermodels regardless where they are in realtime.

Just picked up this game, having a tonne of fun so far.
I think the cowboy guy could use some buffs, his grenade thing is never in range for anyone and when I right click people at midrange It's really hard to hit more than 3 shots.
Hanzo on the other hand is insane, his wallclimb ability makes him really good for attacking. I play him like a ninja and sneak behind enemy lines and silently pick them off. He's probably going to need nerfs, until then I'm playing him everygame!
One thing I don't like is how pointless tanks are, whats the point of a tank in a game where you can just point and shoot at anyone you want? I always tell my team to not pick a tank, might aswell just have more hanzo's!

Compound bows have an initial pull resist and then it's nothing. I believe they mated it out as you'd need a 1200 lbs. Pull strength to get the same power as an average sniper rifle. With energy lines and shit in the future, I can see it being plausible for a bionic samurai to do that.

Bastion is fine because by himself there are several heros that can shut him down. He is annoying in the sense that it requires constant communication if he isn't a retard and switch positions often. If his team wants to make a teamcomp revolving around him, then i'd say that it's fair game, as long as the strat can also be reliably countered.
What he does is the same as flankers, but on the defensive side. If your team has garbage awareness or you don't communicate the flankers position, they will shit on your team really hard.
