One thing that really annoyed me about DiMA's conversation is that the SS suddenly has no memories outside of the day the bombs fell, and waking up. As if the entire opening sequence where he goes over his memories as a child, and his "time in the Army" leading up to it. Interacting with certain items in the house before you head to the vault give dialogue by the SS recalling other memories too.

Back on /v/ someone requested a copy of the Daughters of Ares mod. Anon, I have the mod uploading now, but it's going to take some time to get the zip going because of my router is a potato with an ethernet cable stuck in it. I'll have it ready in about 20 minutes.

So after messing around in the CK, changing the 'range' values does indeed change the effective range of the weapon. The caveat is each weapon has its own range multiplier (which I couldn't find) built in somewhere. So even though it says 256.0000 range on all weapons, it translates to differences in range in-game.
I got around this by finding the weapon in the leveled list and 'previewing' its stats. In the preview window you can find the min and max range of the weapon. From there I just fiddled with the 'Range' values until I found something that worked.
