I'm thinking of cutting Battle Rage, at least one copy, from my tempo warrior. There aren't that many whirlwind effects nor incentive to hit your own minions, unlike in patron, so very often it's 2 mana draw 1. Ideas for replacement?

That's just taking the worst case and adding an useless 1/1 body. Battle Rage is already good if it draws 2, and pretty insane if it draws more, i just feel it's inconsistent in tempo.

I usually only keep the the gold cards I unpack that create value - Journey Below, Shredder, Light in the Darkness, Shadowcaster, Renounce Darkness (makes hero power gold too!), etc.
Just about everything else gets dusted... unless the animation is way 2 kool.

That's pretty bad. You should definitely keep track of what decks you're playing and learn all of the matchups so you can find a good meta deck. Cthun mage is alright, but if you're playing Doomcaller like in that pic then your list is probably too slow. Try to build it more like tempo mage.

Atleast in constructed you know what cards people usually run, what you can expect when, how to play around / prepare for certain cards.

No, you're underestimating the effect that skill and experience has in arena. Arena has a meta as well that you pick up on as you play more. People can average out higher than 6 wins per run and be infinite arena players, stop blaming luck for your own failure to learn and adapt.

Arena is literally an rng fest in every single aspect of its design and play. You can affect very little of the overall experience. That is entirely just "which of these 3 random cards would help my deck". Sure you need to know how to play the game to be successful, but bad luck either in your match ups, your draft, or your opponents draft are far more detrimental than if you just generally suck.

It's literally just a puzzle about lining up the cards in hand with your opponents, it's not difficult.
Having previous arena experience is certainly helpful, but all that does is make you choose the best card every time, the core gameplay doesn't change : Draft better, draw better.
The plays are not even CLOSE to as intricate as in constructed.
I fucking quit drafting MTG the second time some asshole drafted a Planeswalker and drew it early enough to fuck me up two games in a row of a round one.

I can pretty much go infinite arena these days. People like Kripp consistently get lots of wins too. Of course there's luck in drawing, but unlike constructed, you can't just go faec and win. The variation in the number of possible plays increases massively. You actually have to think about each play.

The best thing to do if you don't have many cards is to look at the current best decks and aim to complete one. From my point of view, N'Zoth Paladin, Face Shaman and Zoo are all currently great.
Grind games to open packs and get dust. Just keep crafting shit you don't have, even if it's commons (If there's multiple variants of a deck and you're unsure which to aim for, ask here and we'll post either a popular legend deck or our own that we've been teching against strong decks). Once you have a deck, take it on ladder and play the shit out of it.
If you're playing with common trading sense, you should be able to get at least rank 15. Knowing your matchups on which are good and bad, and how to mulligan and control the pace of the game will get you to about rank 10.
As for getting to rank 5 and beyond, I wouldn't want to pretend I know as my max rank is 8. So another anon might be able to tell you the intricacies of what you'd do for that time.

Warhorse Trainer is garbage.
A Light in the Darkness is an arena-only card. You don't want this kind of tempo loss in a fast deck, and you don't need a random minion in a slow deck.
Jeweled Scarab seems pointless.
Silver Hand Regent is basically a worse Murloc Knight, especially now that Quartermaster is gone.
Stand Against Darkness is still a meh card, even for a token deck.
Generally, too much wishful thinking like being able to pull a Steward into SAD into warhorse combo in a meta where eeryone runs board clears against zoo or just kills you before you get to turn 9. Not enough cards that are just solid for every token deck like Defender of Argus, Abusive Sergeant, or BoK.
What's the better 3-drop in Pirate Warrior between Argent Horserider and Alexstraza's Champion? Faerie Dragon is the only dragon in the deck, but it seems like people still make it work.

Well if you're still about, I've looked through some of it.
N'Zoth Paladin is probably out of the question since you don't have Tirion and Lightlord. But I did see you have Leeroy. So your best bet is to try Warlock zoo. It's really cheap, and the addition of Leeroy will really help you out.
Look around the internet for zoo decks and copy those. If you don't have something, you could easily find a sub for it. That's probably the best thing about zoo. The key is in the Warlock spells (PO etc). They help you gain/keep board, while your minions are free to do what they want.
Lastly, watch some youtube video's of it being played. It's a long lasting deck, so you're sure to find something decent and up to date.

N'zoth for sure if you want to play deathrattle decks. Anything but N'zoth paladin is pretty fun to play. Justicar is only really worth it in control warrior or a control paladin in order to deal with priests and mirrors.

I usually play him as a Hail Mary if I'm otherwise guaranteed to lose. I'd say 80% of the time the turn ends in my favor. The other times I get Communion or he buffs the enemy board.
The number of times you get a crucial Vaporize, Ice Block or Sacred Trial is delicious though.

Warrior with Dragonlordo. Don't have BrM past Emp so I'm trying to improvise. Not very creative but it's fun and I got my 3 win quest with it along with beating my more competent friend's C'Thun Warrior in some Bo3's.

Those are good reasons to craft him. Right now I usually play N'Zoth Rogue/Maly+Yogg Rogue followed by N'Zoth Pally and Dragon Warrior.
I like to occasionally mess around with N'Zoth Shadow Priest, Maly+Yogg/Totem Shaman and Yogg Mage too.
Would Rag be optimal for the majority of those decks, or just a solid general choice if I decide to try other stuff in the future? I tend to try a lot of stuff instead of sticking to one thing all the time so flexibility is ideal.

It's pretty insane. I got my SO into the game a week before the Old Gods release. He lucked out and got a golden Hallazeal, the normal version and a Shoggoth from the free quest packs plus a few I gifted him and from that we dusted the golden lego to craft a very solid Shaman deck.
I'd watch him play or pilot the deck myself to tutor him and holy fuck, even on Day 1 of the expansion he was getting matched against people who clearly bought enough packs (probably 50-100) to have perfect decks already along with players who used 100% Legendary Netdecks with cards from all the Adventures. At Ranks 23-18. Between 25 and 20 we saw maybe a handful of newbie/beginner decks and many Golden heroes.
He did really damn well rising above the glut in the first few weeks but got sick of running into so many crushing decks and since he didn't want to buy packs/adventures to gain an edge he just about quit playing.
I've had a good number of friends follow the same path too, unfortunately. Unless you're willing to take a leap of faith and invest $$$ or grind for weeks/months with gimped budget decks for classes you're not even interested in it just seems pointless to continue playing outside of friendly matches. Even Casual is a slaughterfest of netdecks piloted by bad players who are just good enough to stomp newbs lol

The reason i did it is cause my birth country's got mandatory constriction. Im sure for other countries where tou got the choice, the conditions are different like pay and living conditions. Alot of the early training is fucking with you and pushing you to the point of exhuastion for either breaking you or training endurance. As for vocation, hell if i know, i got vehicle operatorbig vehicles, 7/7 divine shield vehiclesother than that, if you got the mind for it, it can change your life for the better.

Alot of my ladder climbing decks have been cobbled trial and error or wide variations of popular decks. Reason being is that i enjoy deck building though i can see why others may not, another is opponents can be thrown off when they see that the wierd tech card isnt a one off at all. Of course going too far off the main netdecklist leads to broken synergy but with the game so lacking in card variation, its hard not to stick to the obvious working cards

A lot of folks in his family voluntarily enlist, usually for civilian jobs. It's not mandatory here (murrika) but he's been thinking about joining to gain some discipline and direction in life. Plus the pay is pretty good if you seek advancement outside of basic gruntwork. I think there's some exam that puts you in track for an officer position and skips a lot of the basic training junk.
Plus depending on the branch-like Marines I think- you get to visit some pretty cool places for noncombat purposes and they set you up with decent benefits after your active touring or whatever.

Well I yolo dusted everything from Naxx and GvG. No regrets since I got to craft mostly everything I was interested in-game Zoth, Yogg, Sylv, Xaril, Fadral, Shoggoth, etc.
I would prioritize Chillmaw or Xaril depending on which deck you play more. I just crafted Chill and she's exactly what I needed for Zoth and Dragonlordo decks.
Xaril you can get away with not crafting right away by running 2x Journey Below (I get offered him like every other game) ((and Thistle Tea if you're feeling lucky)).

Xaril is extra goodstuff, but damn if it isnt really fucking goodstuff. You can hold off on crafting it unless you really want to play miracle but that also needs edwin, bloodmage, and leeroy. Decks can work just fine without since it does compete with the 4 drop slot with a card that also gives low cost card advantage but when you do get around to crafting it, you find that your hand suddenly gets alot more options on the cheap. I opened one during old gods release so i was inclined to use it in a early rendition of deathrattle rogue, but i really did fall in love with this card. Its not far off to call it a new rogue staple card

i used him in renounce warlock.
just a bunch of board clears and spells. once you draw enough you dont need to tap anymore. once you renounce you can use sarad to keep some card advantage, and produce more memes. works well with yogg too.

i think of yogg as the warlock Doom! card. 10 mana board clear and draw cards. yogg does those two things very well, and then occasionally wins you the game. but i never play him with less than around 7 cards in my deck.
