Had a goofy idea of making a "Prewar Vending Machine" station that allows you to craft Nuka Cola (ice cold, of course) and/or other pristine sorts of food using Prewar Money as the reagents. I was kinda daydreaming about Nuka World earlier today, and thinking about the SS finding some elevator in the basement of the main building in the park, going down it, finding a Vault, and inside the Vault was an even bigger elevator, and kept going down and finding a massive complex under it similar to the underground city in that one Resident Evil movie, rows upon rows of synths being mass produced, and you hear a voice teasing you over an intercom, saying "You thought the Institute in the Commonwealth was the actual Institute? They were all nothing but synths! The only human being living there was your son..." and the Commonwealth Institute was actually some massive experiment made up by the real Institute, and the US government and Vault-tec has planned the "original" Institute prior to everything else, and wanted to use it to make armies and non-mutated "desirable" citizens to replace everything on the surface.
And the SS was like some prototype synth that could procreate, and Nora was also either a scientist willing to carry the child (or vice versa if you play as Nora), or another synth they made. And eventually you find some perfect 1:1 model of Pre-war Sanctuary in the facility, like in the Truman show.
Of course...all this would cost billions of dollars to make. But Vault Tec could probably do it if the Government was backing them. And Inside this facility are more Enclave, mainly scientists or something, but also some troops as well. I know, I have an overactive imagination. This woulda been cool, though. ;_;

It became a little more obvious to me when I saw those masks the birdlike Dark Eldar scourges wear in 40k and saw some similarities (even if rather vague) to the Enclave helmet. Then I started looking at pictures of bird skulls and now I can't fucking unsee birdfaces on Enclave Troopers. Given the whole "America Fuck Yeah" vibe the Enclave is meant to have, their helmets being a somewhat twisted interpretation of an eagle seems likely.

i'm not gonna lie i'm using over 20+ mods alone
the suit its self is the vault suit long coat version with to proto vault suit plugin, the guns and sword are a part of the armorsmith extended mod the hand is the basic synth and replacement not the armor version. i'm using the backpack and pouches from wearable backpacks and pouches, the armor is normal in game armor. hope this helps answer some questions

The original 6 he did were actually pretty nicely done tbqh. The AK is way better than the modular Kalash and you can build it into the majority of the AK family AKSU's, RPK's, PSL's etc. Most of the older series look pretty setting appropriate or at least don't stick out too badly. The main gripe I have is that both polymer type mags for the 74 are black. I want my goddamn bakelite, so I might have to fire up the old texture editor. I mostly just use the AK anyway, the AR-15's have even deeper customisation and some of the old A1/XM177 variants look pretty 'setting appropriate' if not lore freindly.
The dump of new weapons wasn't all that well done on the most part. Some were nice like the M2 and one of the Barrets, but a lot like the DSR and AS-50 were total shit.

There's no functional difference between a gun from the 1950's and a gun from now, and all the guns in FO4 are fake, not pre-50's, and if we go by lore, all the guns in FO4 would be more advanced than modern firearms since their from over 50 years in the future.
