I more often or not I try and front line with it and brawl. Only time I don't is camp maps like Fiery Salient cause you know, fuck driving into TD nest on the other lines.
Then as for peak a boo over the ridge in the across the middle, I've never been good at that. Also know you get shot in the sides and Super Burger has no sides.

The same way any tank aiming at you would be a dice roll. It's a shit roll for both of you though, what with the 4+ second aiming times and the ridiculously slow she'll velocity. Also we have to wait for you to fuck up, which means no initiative can be taken at all

First off, what do you even expect ithem to do? You don't have the speed to keep up with everyone else (mostly), you don't have the armor or health to take a hit once you get there, you don't have the aim time to really do anything before you get shot to shit, you don't have the reload speed to really accomplish anything but one shot, and you don't have the view range to go off and do something yourself. Camping in the back is the only thing artillery has in this game.
And after all of that, "" """"""potentially""""""" one-shotting somebody is completely dependent on whether RNGesus decided to stop shitting on arty and actually land a shot for once. And even if you do, it's 40 seconds to the next one, during which you can do whatever the fuck you want because it has to aim AGAIN every time you move.

You want onto good teams, then you offer the tanks, skilled crews, and personal skill required to win regardless if you get picked to play in that match set or not. Your attitude (IT'S NOT ME, IT'S MY SHIT TEAMMATES I SWEAR) is precisely why nobody wants you on good teams, particularly that shit I heard on TS Saturday 'we lost so there's no point to play any more'. The superpershing is the cheapest pref-mm tanking there is, by that alone I'd buy it. It's a fun tank, too. I have a hard time doing less than 2k a game in it. It's armor works at most ranges, it's just that at close range people will shoot your cupolas, or if you angle your turret at all and expose the shit that isn't covered by riot shields. You have to bring APCR though, 170 pen is shit. I keep AP for shooting the meds and lights, sometimes a few heavies or artillery that it meets, but the AP isn't enough to deal with most equal tier heavies and above frontally

Here's the straight answer delivered without vitriol:
To understand why arty is bad, you have to understand that "broken" and "overpowered" are two different things. A "broken" mechanic, as the name would imply, "breaks" some aspect of the game, usually by ignoring the rules of the game; i.e. the lasers you can get in Ace Combat, where the AI is not programmed to deal with them and thus die defenselessly. Overpowered is just like it sounds; the class or object gives an enormous advantage over other players to the point that not choosing it is a handicap.
With that established, arty is broken but not overpowered.
As we defined above, artillery is broken because it ignores basic rules of the game. All tanks except for artillery fire shells that are fairly restricted by line of sight, whereas artillery can ignore that to a huge degree with shell arcs. This is game-breaking because a large amount of this game relies on flanking and utilizing hull-down positions, often on unprotected ridges or in fairly open areas. Artillery effectively discourages hulldown play, as well as flanking any path without hard cover. In addition, tanks besides arty have a maximum render distance, outside of which they cannot effectively engage opponents because their client will not render them. Artillery again ignores this, which means that unlike other tanks, when you take fire from artillery, you generally cannot respond as you could to an actual tank; in other words, artillery players get to attack enemies without the enemies having a chance to shoot back, which is pretty un-fun to players that want to fight their opponents.
Add to this mix rng and absurd alpha damage, and it's easy to see why artillery is so reviled. I honestly don't mean any offense, just wanted to lay it out there.

More fun doing loads of damage than getting loads of kills. I've gotten 10 kills with less than 3k damage, and conversely got 8k~ damage with only like 4 kills.
Kills are important to win, but they don't mean shit, most of them happen because you showed up at the right time or your reload synced up so you could get a killshot right as enemy hit health threshold.
The only kills to be "proud" of are ones you do 90% of the damage in.

teching is quicker in blitz than it is in the PC version. you can easily reach T4 in a day, probably even T5.
Blitz is similar to PC tanks statistics wise (HP and autoloaders being the exception)
but the main differences are:
-no arty
-teams of 7 instead of 14
-games are usually quicker
-teching is quicker. also no need to buy modules, once you research them you can switch right to them

It used to be a lot more reliable, you'd park up at a corner, angle front so LFP can't be penned, hide hull cheek, and hide cupola, and you're good. Shoot enemy, aim away from them to angle turret mantlet.
Now though, yeah everybody just goes right through the mantlet. Maybe it's that people seem much more willing to spam gold, maybe it's just that everyone knows to shoot the turret now.

I still find it pretty retarded how high tier mediums have MORE pen than equivalent heavies, I guess to sidestep the issue of the maps being fucking corridors (but most not having those corridors walls high enough to avoid arty rape).
There was a while where high tier TDs were OP, but they got a blanket nerf (including nerfing the foch 155 to uselessness, which I'm still fucking salty about and they won't do shit to it to make that completely crap line worth anything)
High tier mediums are king, followed by TDs, heavies and finally lights which are basically worthless unless they resemble mediums (ie more of an attack role with a decent gun instead of scouts with useless weaponry). SPGs are still the bonus class that can be anywhere in that scale depending on your opinion, but few will dare say it's not still cancerous as ever. At least clicking people yourself is a nice way to relax and have effortless games whenever you need a break.

Just keep playing and putting in effort to understand what you are doing wrong. You should know by now WG hates the Chinese. The 110 and WZ111111 used to be cool, but WG buffed the IS-3 and T-10 over them at this point. The 112 gets its frontal fuel tanks removed, but enlarge the frontal ammo rack so it's actually worse off now. The lights are all they have at this point, and even then the WZ-132 isn't used in competitive play.
