It's been awhile since I've seen anything close to a Bomberman game.
Anyone know of anything that's Bomberman inspired in terms of online gameplay? (Preferably on steam)
Do you think we are overdue for a Bomberman reboot? or was it a shit series that I just can't see because my nostalgic glasses are on?
I have heard talk of a newer game that was released back in 2015, called Randscape. It has similar features of Bomberman that you should probable check out.

HudsonSoft, the company that owned Bomberman, was bought out by Konami years ago. Given that Konami no longer has an interest in making traditional videogames (just mobile games and pachinko shit) it's unlikely we'll get another real Bomberman game. Best we can hope for is a touchscreen multiplayer game on mobile or something.
