Would you guys make the mental leaps necessary to imagine a follower looking a certain way if the mod author was dogshit at 3D modelling but decent enough at drawing to give an idea of what the character looked like? I've got a finished piece on what a follower i'm working on looks like and it's sort of close to how he looks in-game but i'm simply not good enough at Autodesk or anything to spend hours modeling the cape/mask.

it's very resource intensive, so depending on what you're already running, it can cause you to crash.
when dealing with random crashes, mods like obis should be removed first to see if it's a resource issue (it's fast and easy to check, simply uninstall, start a new game and run around for awhile, if it stops crashing, then you likely need to cut back on the resources). City/town overhauls are also bad on resources.

Thanks for the explanation. I used to run OBIS+ASIS in tandem, but decided to axe ASIS because I felt the added pressure wasn't worth it and I'm now considering getting rid of OBIS. I don't need it along with Revenge of the Enemies+SIC+Genesis+Ultimate Combat really. I also recently installed Solitude Reborn+Books of Skyrim+Solitude Exterior, and man, you aren't kidding. that's what I did, I also run genesis now as well and have noticed very little hit on my system with asis+genesis, and it gives me the extra npc's I was after (makes the game much harder). my experience with obis was not good at all, I like the idea, but it was a crash haven for me and I refuse to alter my base load order to accommodate for that nonsense. So ASIS+Genesis made me much happier.

The main problem is that the normal maps (from what I've created and looked at) look mostly like wood. The fur would have a lot of deep engravings or it'd look way too detailed so it looks more like a polished turd. The only textures that I know which look pretty good are Witchcat's. for your loading screen issues, you might just need a 'tweak' edit this in your skyrim.ini file:

that's what mine is set at, increase it as you use more and more scripts. it literally does nothing but allow your system more time to process your scripts during the loading screens.
I rarely see npc's drop out of no where (but that's a vanilla issue). But if you saw an increase in this, maybe you need to tweak your ASIS settings a bit. I use ASIS ONLY to increase how many npc's spawn in any given location. I use Genesis to spawn enemies in different locations than what I'm use to. I've only been using Genesis for a short time, so after a while I might get use to it's locations as well and get bored of it also (basically just another ASIS at that point I guess), but I'm not entirely sure how it completely works yet. All I know, is that for now, it's made every location completely different. I no longer know for sure where enemies are, so it's like playing an entire new game again, which is cool.

Textures are custom and now seamless (after much frustration, but the neck is impossible right now), but they're not cannothave. I'll upload them if you want. They've been modified for S7B though, so there might be a little weirdness around the boobs.

Genesis does that automatically, I literally just enable the mod and that's it.
ASIS though I've tweaked a bit. I found some file online that apparently 'fixes' it, don't remember where I got it. Aside from that I tweak the numbers of how many and how likely spawns will occur. Everything else I just followed the recommended settings (like not using the AI, etc..) I honestly have no idea what that file does. I'm guessing it disables it from working at key points in the game so you don't end up with three mob bosses or some shit like that.

If you look at the original CBBE textures I have compared to this, there's no difference in editing aside from color correction and sharpening. Kinda retarded someone would do that but oh well.

What's currently in MO. Hope you can make something of these, they're tailored for witchcat and S7B (which is based on UNP anyway). Basically a mashup of many different resources, seamless with Halo's hand/feet meshes. Hopefully this and CT's CBBE stuff covers she-cats.

From the quick glance I took of it, I saw it the opposite.
Here's the thing, ASIS and Genesis are permanently part of my game, they will likely NEVER be removed. They are are basic 'engine or structure' for modifying your enemies in the game. One alters the vanilla locations, the other drop enemies at more random or non vanilla locations (still don't know, point is, I'm not familiar with those locations, so it's keeping me on my toes atm). This mod you just found will add NEW monsters basically. So ASIS and Genesis will take advantage of those new monsters. All it's going to do is add more variety to what I get to kill.
Again. that's if, I understood the description properly.
Is there a mod like Gather Ye Rosebuds for Skyrim? Auto alchemical ingredient gathering via spells (and preferably supporting player-planted fertile soil etc.), GYR did it nicely in that there were several tiers of the spell and you needed decent skill to use the best version.
I'd search the nexus but it's being fucky again so if anyone can recommend one, that'd be dandy.
