Okay, I think I understand her abilities a bit better now. Surprisingly, I don't think she would be OP or even close to before.

The numbers don't matter too much or at least they could make it so. She shouldn't be able to nuke because of the way the explosions spread. The explosion damage diminishes with distance. If they just make it fall off hard after a certain distance they could allow her percentage shield/armor damage. Keeping the example close to her previous state, if they just made it so that 200% strength would allow her to strip all shields + armor, then she would merely strip all armor/shields and nuke groups of enemies occasionally if they're too crowded. But basically it would just allow her to take all in one go instead of having to cast it several times.

What I think would be FAR better than that is to allow her consecutive recastings without dispersing the former waves of polarize. I already mentioned this in a previous threads when I checked out the CP build. Now after considering the damage part I think this would turn out even better and it would justify the decision to keep the damage flat.

That aside, could anyone who knows a bit more about armor response to this? Or at least check my calculations? I really think Fracturing Crush is odd at the moment.

in reality there are THREE layers of armor modifier

the first one is the base armor, a integer number, the second one is mods like armored agility, this is where the enemy armor scaling is as well

the last one is corrosive projection along with armor sortie modifier, it acts upon all previous layer. likely polarize acts on 1st and crush acts on second layer, leaving CP on its 3rd layer. so they are geometrically adding each other

I have two problems. First, following your explanation means that the wiki's explanations turned into garbage at some point. According to the wiki, CP reduces the total armor calculated, so base armor * level progression. After that, still according to wiki, Fracturing Crush cuts this result into half, so together with CP, it simply multiplies the "total armor" with 0.35. This cannot be true. It would mean that armor of a level 60 heavy gunner just barely gets removed by two casts and armor of a level 60 bombard shouldn't be deleted by two polarize casts. This is not my observation. Both enemies get their armor removed by a single cast.

Second, following your explanation and disregarding the wiki is hard. I don't know how to make polarize interact at layer 1. What did you mean with that? It cannot reduce base armor. This would be too severe. If I make Fracturing Crush interact at layer 2, I get a slightly reduced armor progression. It's a smaller factor than applied later. It doesn't work out because the final armor value is even higher than what the wiki would suggest.

My originally observed and calculated results aren't too far away from each other. But they indicate that the wiki formula is wrong in ANY case.
To reach my result, I had to apply CP to the total progressed armor and then subtract half of the total progressed(!) armor. Only that put me close enough to be merely 23 armor off from the observed results. But nothing suggested it. I had to make that rule up to come close to my observations.

Please tolerate my ignorance and elaborate a bit more. I'm a bit lost.

FC and CP are on the same final layer. together they are removing 80 or 95% depending on how they are calculated of all armor. the sum would means -0.5+(-0.3)=-0.8

or the 100% of armor is first reduced by 30% and then of the base number has 50% reduced, as in -1.3*-1.5=-1.95%

wich means that FC is def taking power in consideration. if it isn't then there's a bonus somewhere doing the rest of armor strip. there's still the possibility of one debuff affect them twice

DEAC scares the ever living fuck out of me. The issue is they're going to steal the crutch before fixing the broken leg. So ultimately we're going to be left completely helpless on a festering wound with no leg to stand on. I think so too but there' still something left that doesn't allow me to reach close enough values. It's just a bit too high to be an error due to rounding. Also, there's room for "more" armor reduction I cannot observe because I have no indicator for going below 0. So I have an observed error of 23, but it might be a lot more. It would be fascinating to find out that FC takes in strength now. The wiki entry is wrong anyway, so why would it be right at that point specifically?

well, flameblades and powerfists exhibit the same behavior, and I've seen this up to the low triple digits but can't verify beyond that, though the math works out if you assume that base armor is an integer and anything acting on it results in a rounded integer number before scaling etc

the simulacrum recently had a few QoL improvements (stealth buffs? they never talk about the very few and rare GOOD things they do like this) like saving your last used enemy spawn and instant-on focus, but I REALLY want auras to work and having multi-player simulacrum would be very helpful for things like this (since one person can't test the effects of three corrosive projections, only things like abating link or fracturing crush or seeking shuriken, all of which seem to act on post-scaled armor values)
