What do you think? Have I blown your mind yet? Imagine how futureproof this build is too. You KNOW that Featherfoot is likely going to be getting some serious love in rank 8/C2. They're not going to let Warlock be the only game in town, folks.
The build is a very strong support thanks to C2 Thauma, but where it really starts to shine is how amazeballs its damage output is once it's Rank 7. That is VERY unique among support builds. They usually have absolute shit for damage output. Having those Quick Casted rune spells on top of the Featherfoot arsenal though? That's basically like having 2 rank 7 jobs at once. It's like being both a Musketeer AND a Cannoneer at once. Runecaster CDs are long but extremely powerful skills, which allows me to go full Featherfoot onslaught inbetween those long CDs.
I know this build is unconventional, and I know it will likely bring some mocking from people who only follow cookie cutter builds and don't have the imagination or vision to see the new possibilities out there. But guess how cookie cutter builds get made? Do they just materialize out of the aether? No, they're built from theorycrafting. Someone sees the potential, does it, and then reaps the rewards.
Once the servers come back up, I'm starting this character. I'm going to be that person.

Because you can't just not have Featherfoot in the build. That dramatically weakens it and it won't even play the same. The whole point of the build is to have simultaneous access to both the Rune and Feather arsenals (and to be honest, C3 Thauma is a bit of a joke, C2 is all you really should get).

Ok, with the recent Bloodletting nerfs, how is this as an alternative to PvP Arena builds. Keep in mind that you cannot use dispellers there so landing a One Inch Punch is pretty much death as is Kamehameha. Sadhu is there forSnap Asura nostalgiamobility so you can hit your One Punch attacks better. You also get a semi Land Protector and a mini Bloodletting by taking Oracle. Priest is there because ressing allies is OP.

You can't seriously attack his cookie cutter build with "w-what if they nerf it!" and then turn around and claim all the shit you just argued for is golden and no one can touch it. Yes Gem Roatsting is used to reduce the pentalies and will completely remove them based on the level of roasting. So a Lv5 roasted 5* will have all penalties removed but a Lv5 roasted 6* gem will still have a slight penalty. Currently you can only roast up to lv5 until rank 8 is released for C3 Alchemist. Probably can roast up to Lv6 with divine might but I haven't tested it.

I've always gotten the rares drops BY REROLLING the cube. No joke. Placebo I'm sure but no joke. I also ran the 130 dungeon an entire week without rerolling and got over 300 talt and nothing else except one armband recipe.

If say, they reduce it to 10% it'll still be more beneficial because 10% increase against a spell that does 20k damage, 50k or 100k damage will recieve a massive buff that will be hard to achieve otherwise.

It's not a "What if" situation, people thought that Pyromancer was the shit back in CBT days and where do you think it is now? Pyromancer was strong because it worked for low level content and the same thing can be said with his cookie cutter build. It may work now but it will definitely wont work at high levels because another cookie cutter build will replace your current cookie cutter build.

Silver is reasonably easy to acquire. I have a warlock who can pretty easily gain over 1million silver in an hour of brainless farming.
If you account the fact that 3 runs worth of silver from a boss then if the reroll is below say 100k, it's always worth the reroll. At least once.
It's basically like running the dungeon 4 times a day for the price of 100k silver and 100k silver is an easy feat if you're not lazy about farming.
I think you're not getting that statistics don't matter when it's about gambling. If they did everyone would be a millionare by going to a casino and "betting the right amount to win".
It's gambling and I know that if I reroll 3 times a day on 3 characters it's like paying 180k for 3x cubes. It's not bad considering I can get a recipe like Mana-Mana that sells for 6000k.

It's always a "what if" situation because, by its very definition, we don't really know. We don't know what nerfs, if any, are coming down the pipe. We can speculate about it, and we might even try to convince ourselves and others around us that there are "good reasons" to expect certain nerfs here or certain nerfs there. But at the end of the day, it's just speculation. MMOs have had balance issues for years before they were worked out, and some weren't worked out at all after much consternation and grief, both in-game and on forums.
To say that there is "one obvious path" of balance fixes coming in the future is to be foolishly naive and ignorant of the history of balance issues in online gaming. Sometimes broken things aren't fixed. Sometimes really powerful things aren't balanced. Sometimes really powerful things are "over-adjusted" and become completely useless. Which of these paths will any of the skills or classes in ToS take in the coming months? Literally who the fuck even knows?

Or you could just save that 100k silver every day and put it towards the thing you actually want from that cube and buy it directly instead.
You're much more likely to raise the silver to outright buy the damn thing way before you ever get it on a chance alone on a re-roll. And even better, if you get it through a normal cube on your way to saving up for it, then you just saved up a shit-ton of money that you can now use for any other purpose.
Or, you know, keep spending 60,000 silver in order to receive a talt worth 5000 silver every day. It's your money, what do I care.
I'll say this though, I regret going Pyro > Linker > Thauma for my Alchemist.
Pyro is terribly underpowered. Despite being a level 100 with both Arde and a +7 rod with 170 magic attack I feel underpowered.
I can't even finish mobs before Swell ends and I got the Swell Arms attribute to level 30 and I still feel underpowered.
I feel like I won't get invites to grind parties at all.
Someone convince me to reroll into Cryo 3 > Linker for SOME utility even though I've already wasted over 1 million into this thaumas attribues.... is Cryo > Linker easy to level?
