You only go scout for the cloak for pvp or its general usefulness in pvp.
The +50% bonus is barely noticeable because it's only physical attack added in a dumb way to only one hit. It'll add maybe 5k damage to an already 60k snipe on one target.

Highlander's Cross guard is too specific to work in any circumstances
(you have to take a hit to apply the pierce debuff) which either:

Depends on what circle you're planning to end your corsair. Keel hauling and dust devil deal absolute garbage damage, so maybe one point in both. Never played corsair2, but hexen droppen seems to be the shit, don't know how well DWA scales with level, pistol shot seems to be quite shitty but what else are you taking.

Those 500 would turn into 2000, maybe 4000 with max attribute and 1.5x with crit.

You do understand fencers have a bonus 15% pierce damage, complete def nullity for pierce attacks (which is crucial if you went high dex for shinobi) and bonus pierce damage on top of all that right?
Hoplites main draw is allowing shinobis to focus str as well as finestra + its splash attribute as well as the fact most spears have damage bonuses on bosses (which is what shinobis mainly do since non-stationary is hard as fuck due to horrid ai).

Hop2 as you said gives finestra and benefits from having big flat additionnal damage from 1H spears but you also need spear lunge which is a 6 sec debuff with 2OH that boosts your pierce attacks by 80%

The main point of fencer shinobis is lunge + pelt combo which allows them to function OUTSIDE stationary bosses.

I can still function properly in every other situation with doppel's Cyclone and double slash as well as instagibbing mobs like you with kunai combos.
even for bosses, Situations where bosses are stationary are really rare so i just usually pop up clones get in spear lunge and kunais followed by some thrusts and Double slash and it works quite well.

Doppel's problem isn't Cyclone itself, but how much the game changed coupled with the fact the c2 skills not being particularly strong. Deeds is great and Cyclone scales incredibly well even after the nerf, but that's pretty much the class.

Pelt 3 is pretty much absolute in its requirement, squire 3 less so but it certainly helps more than anything else from the hahaman tree.

Relying on zombie auto attacks when you start seeing 80k+ hp mobs is quite meh. Damballa is great and shit at same time. Against bosses or mobs immune to knockback it's literally stronger than Meme Cloud. You can either use it with the attribute, which will spawn additional zombies that will also explode, and those might spawn even more zombies, or you can combo it with mackangdal/revive and use it multiple times on the same zombies and they won't die after the first damballa. Anyway, the damage is usually pitiful against most common mobs because they're knocked out of damballa's area of effect right after the first explosions. It also relies a bit of RNG.

You're really stuck using it as a support class with Circling rather than a damage class like the game says you are. It's just like Hunter, only at least in that case the game's not lying.
So, I was thinking of doing sword 3 pelt 1, x, fencer, and shinobi. What should x be? Someone last thread said they tried barb and it was pretty meh in the end. I could do hoplite and pick up stabbing even though finestra wouldn't work, or I was considering squire, but I don't know if squire has to buy things from their trainer or if they can even self-repair. I already regret playing again. The only other Wizard classes that seem interesting to me are Featherfoot, maybe Kino3, and potentially Mimic. Featherfoot and Mimic both have too many unknowns to even consider, and Kino3 is early enough that I would need to have more ranks released to consider it. I like Necro, Necro is actually fun. If Necro turns out to be shit I'll just use the character for afk silver farming and probably make a Cleric/wait for more ranks. This is all assuming I'm actually at all okay with the current late/endgame content which from what I hear about it, I won't be. More than likely I'm just going to get to Necro2 then play actually good video games until rank 8 releases anyway. If it doesn't release with actual content then I'll wait for that after getting to rank 8.

Atleast hunter does somewhat respectable dmg for its rank, even if none of it is AoE. Falconers damage is just so shit for its rank that its kind ofsad. The only half-decent skill in its pool is sonic strike, and that's alredy drawfed by the fact musketeer/canon shit all over it with 1 skill and the other R7 options have non-sucky C1/C2 skills to fall back on.

Sure it does. Summons do passive damage while my cryo skills help to keep them alive and at maximum efficiency. Flesh Cannon works extremely well, I argue even better than Linker, with Frost Pillar. Flesh Cannon has a long enough cooldown that I can use all my Cryo stuff too. Chrono can be questionable in practice but on paper it works great with everything.
Pick the class you find fun then try to be most efficient in that class. This is how video games are best played. A beautiful fusion of autism and enjoyment.

That was fucking great.
I just met a diev that gathered mission bosses in the long hallway and used his owls there. He was soaking up all of the damage with safety circles and also had the most dps because both the mole and poata was aggro'd to him. The owls were doing over half of our damages combined, we had a non-diev cleric, an archer, and another wizard like me. I have a level 200+ character and I've never seen a diev before that executed this method. It's noteworthy that this was on a mission that I joined with my freshly made level 100 alt, I wasn't expecting anyone to be competent enough to kill the bosses so efficiently. The mission went by really fast, probably 5 minutes less than average.

So I uh max lethargy so that an enemy kills my skeletons slower. This works better than anything else. I might as well get myself one rank of elementalist so I can stone curse the enemies so that my skeletons survive longer. This is literally the best synergy ever!

pelt 2 has more swashbuckling and high guard for pve tanking during grindgroups/dungeons/missions or corsair for flag pve + hook for pvp.
