We really need to stop calling everything we don't like "broken" I've been seeing a lot of posts recently on here talking about pretty complex topics in the game such as Skill Floors and Ceilings, disjointed hitboxes, etc.
It seems like this is the newest way to complain about games, I understand that any/all of these could be an actual concern but when we see posts by "Lemememaster09" talking about how the only reason a Bastion (for example) was able to beat his epic Genji was because of "Broken hitboxes, not how Blizzard intended for him to be played!!!" Then maybe we should consider that this game Hasn't even been out for a week. Maybe some characters in Overwatch do need to be rebalanced or have something changed about them but if we see this same influx of thousands of "X is OP" posts on the frontpage within the first week then that prompt Blizzard to nerf a character that really doesnt deserve to be and perhaps would have had a counter that no one had tried yet.
Feel free to disagree! I'm definitely open to have my mind changed on this

Bastion for the record is underpowered and needs severe buffs. He is way too easy to counter. Of course Heroes should be strong in certain situations. Complaining about how strong a Hero is in their niche is retarded. If anything people should complain about Heroes with a lack of clear weaknesses like McCree.

If you've sniped a significant amount in any other fps then there is no excuse for not dominating every game as Widowmaker.
She's just so hard to punish I feel completely safe at all times playing her. Her rate of fire is ridiculous for a sniper, in other games I'm used to having to pick shots well (make sure I get a good headshot and on the right enemy) because of the delay between shots while always being careful of my surroundings in case I get flanked. Now I can just throw out shots as I please because there is very little delay between them even at full charge and I have confidence in my safety because her hook lets me reach places that are inaccessible to a lot of the enemy team.
And the ult duration is fucking retarded, and on top of that it prevents my dumbass teammates from getting flanked too.

If matchmaking is working as it should then I should get matched against people of equal skill in fair games and yeah my winrate should be around fifty percent. That's not forced fifty.
Forced fifty is loading me into games and having the defeat screen pop up. Forced fifty is loading me into games where we are missing a teammate for the entire game several times in a row. Forced fifty is loading me into games with people who are single digit in levels and the enemy team is all ten levels above me.
Forced fucking fifty is loading me into a game where we are missing a person, everyone on my team is a lower level than me, and the entire enemy team has matching goddamn clan tags and have drafted a perfect comp within five seconds.

I'm having fun with her. The Demon's Souls kind of fun. And I'm actually getting my team to win more often than not as Mercy.
The problem is that I have to be a one-man-army, fending off enemy flankers, countersniping shitters and shooting high value targets.
Twenty minutes ago I won a game by floating towards our Streetpig and potshotting enemy Mercy, as everyone else ignored her, I blew my ult on 3 people who walked into a tyre I was too slow to shoot, so her ult would blow us the fuck out as we already had casualties since then.
I really wish her peashooter was either stronger or just hitscan though.

Aimbot central, but pretty good. They do direct assaults, ult timely, and flank. Usually they're 76, roadhog, reaper, and either double zarya or double zen.
You get xp for the matches and it helps you learn the maps better too.

I had this feeling too.
But you quickly begin to learn the game. It is not as bad as you think, it's just that it's different, and you kind of need time to adjust to that. Aside from some map design and very few abilities/hero stats, the game is pretty great and well balanced. It's rough initially, but you pick it up soon enough. I mean shit, people are still rather bad at the game in general, it's only a week old at this point. Things can only get better the more people get used to it., and they roll out their little patches here and there.
