Yes, you will nowsee balls of sparkly light at set places around the La-Mulana ruins. These light balls summon one of four fairies. One of them, the green one, makes it so pots and enemies drop lots of gold or health pickups. In a field called Chamber of Extinction there is a stack of boxes that can be farmed repeatedly for quick cash with that fairy.
Although the fairy balls pick a random fairy to be summoned, there is a trick to get the fairy kind you prefer.

Now that I'm done La-Mulana I'm looking back and going over how I'd rate the game. It's not a game that deserves a number x/10 score. It's much beyond that.

I finished Central Station yesterday.
I'd say it's a game that wouldn't appeal to most people, since it's more like art in the form of a RPG game. The lore of the Central Station is interesting, you get to find out more about the setting through note scattered all over the worlds. You're basically stuck in limbo, and you have to fight through several worlds to reach The Dispatcher, who was once in charge of running the trains in the Central Station, but now she has abandoned her job.
I also really liked the designs for the enemies and the world bosses, most of them are human figures who have been malformed and twisted by the hostile nature of their surroundings.
You'll find a variety of party members, but you'll never see any sort of portraits of them, not even in the menu. Each one of them is introduced by a series of notes that'll tell you a bit about their backstory, and then you'll find the companion in a treasure chest. Some of your companions include a dog who is still alive despite getting their skin devoured, a man who was stitched back together after they got their body ripped apart and their heart eaten, and a skeleton who can do devastating damage through witchcraft.
Every world works pretty much the same, with a few slide puzzles and number puzzles sprinkled here and there. Most of the time is spent on collecting keys and checking your map to see where it fits. The battle system works like all the other typical RPG Maker games.
It's really a game that won't fit most people, and I feel like it was more of a personal project for the developer before he was convinced to release it to the public. If you're interested in it, I think the best way to play it is to enjoy it in small, about half an hour chunks at a time.

Midboss actually gave me a review code for Read Only Memories. I didn't even ask for it, I just mentioned on Twitter that I wanted to get it during the Winter Sale last year.
It's an okay game, and while not gritty like your usual cyberpunk game it's a nice homage to Snatcher.Also has a character named Star Fucker, which is kind of hilarious.
