Don't trade with its roll r1. Use a fast weapon to punish the roll r1s. Parry or roll behind them when they charge. Is there a good level for invading both Cathedral of the Deep as a red and in Irithyll as a Faithful? I'd like to make some Deep themed characters (a deacon, an evangelist, a cathedral knight, etc.) and be able to PvP in both spots but I'm not sure if there's any level that would let me catch a good amount of people in both areas.
I could always dupe the characters for different levels but I'm not sure how many character slots there are.

PvP is pretty barren on NA/EU, only some gamefaqs players still semi-frequently play it. JP however, is fairly active if you play based on their timezone.

you do get a lightning gem pretty early. with a high faith you get a pretty high stat bonus on anything lightning. short of that, only plan for 5 or 6 attunement slots and start throwing points into a melee stat. i'd say go low quality, most of the good faith weapons are quality.
