You unlock expeditions like kancolle and some of them gives corns as rewards that you can use to trade in for everything you need in game including quick levelling. The expeditions can also be set to 10hr+ each so no need to constantly check your phone.
After S ranking a map you can auto skip the thing so not much attention needed just careful planning of your team, technology and corns.

At least you have wedge armor, I just got Vashti and am stuck giving her the regular composite armor because I can't afford the 245 processors and 12815 codons to research the entire bottom row after using KVs as my HTs until now (although at least I'd get the passive bonus for clearing T2 HA if I did).

Not much issue when you slap enough binoculars. So far the 5th event map, special 20 and 19-4 are the things that I cannot S rank.
PzIIIL functions well as DPS/scout hybrid and previously my ARL44 also does the role of meatshield/scout well but her N4 APCR damage output is rather poor compared to my M6A2 and Tiger E with N5 ammo.
Right now PzIIIL is just filling the role of scout since I'm out of wrecks and codon to get quickfire ammo for my T-60.
Are LAVs good scouts/detectors or do I need a light tank? I was thinking of using the M3 halftrack and then eventually upgrading to the super hellcat for that purpose.

Most don't bother with LAVs. SdKfz 251/1 being the exception since she isn't really a LAV. They can be helpful on CQB maps though.

You two don't quite appreciate quickfire enough. They should be specced as DPS first. They literally do the most damage out of all your tanks comparatively statwise.
Also armrests instead of exterior camouflage. They both give regular stealth and getting a massive stealth bonus during scouting is a bit moot as long as your tanking tanks are low stealth enough. Even if the damage from infantry on SPGs are crap, they still help finish off low HP enemies at the start of CQB.

The stealth debuff occurs on Valley maps. Thankfully, the only Valley map in the last 4 volumes is 23-1 which is also rocky and full of SPGs. It's more about DPS due to that.

Guess it's a difference in playstyle then. I built my team around being able to handle both long range and close range maps simultaneously so as to clear the last few volumes as fast as possible. They took me through the entirety of volumes 21-24 though not optimally. Nearly everything in volume 24 reached CQB guaranteed for me.
I'm currently in the process of building tanks to simultaneously fill out a close range and high range teams. BTR-50PA and Valentine X for my close range team and Sturmtiger and Mk.8 for my high range team.

For normal gacha characters like those two, whenever a new set is added then there's a vote for which old characters stay in with them.
So when that happens, Burger will be up against Linde, and Tits will be up against Esmeralda.

LTs are mainly scouts with a few capable of strong close range DPS. Notable early to get LTs include:
38(t), she has the second highest detection in the game and is also likely to be your first LT as she drops from forge.
T-60, gets the infamous quickfire round and is good at using it, easy to make and will outperform nearly any other tank at close range.
Valentine X, also gets quickfire and has an exterior slot for an armrest on top of that. Slightly lower base stats than T-60 and requires dogtags though.
38(T), tied for highest base detection with Mk. VIII, has very easy prerequisites, but costs dogtags being an event tank.
MTs are all-rounders with particular MTs being specialized in tanking or DPS. They also have the best base accuracy in the game making them suitable for dealing with LAVs and LTs.
T-34M is infamous for being extremely tanky due to having both a sloped chassis and wedge armor making her practically immune to AP and AT rounds.
Pz. III Ausf. L gets quickfire making her an excellent DPS tank and rear turret which lets her deal with troublesome dirt maps which is where DPS is usually hit hardest.

Emerald has ~85k hp and regens .2% of max hp every 6s. Her physical attack is good.
Ruby has ~61k hp, good magic and physical attack, and regens 1% of damage.

It's bullshit. When the enemy is hitting you for 5-10k per hit the amount you recover is literally nothing. The whole healing thing needs a total revamp. Still, from all of those Emerald is indeed the best.
Honestly while the active skill is great, I wish I had rerolled for Captain Hook, Nekomata or Red Shoes instead.
Captain Hook and Nekomata active skill gives you 85% SP gauge instantly, this means you can easily use your special two times per battle, while Red Shoes deals 25% of your HP as damage.
If you played the golem event a bit you probably noticed how every attack he does it throws you into the ground. While you can reduce that damage to 1, he's still smashing your face into the ground, so you're still fucked no matter what. The best solution for this is to simply dodge and not take damage, thus her active skill becomes useless in this type of fight. It is good against normal mobs, but you can still face tank their auto attacks and dodge their red carpets.

T-34M, on top of those other things, gets +HP from her engine and the low modifier on her chassis, which is extremely important on streets to resist the Armor Down from Trap.

Thic fucking hell stage in BGHS, man. It's these ranking events that make you realize how finicky the controls are. I tap, and my combo breaks. I swipe, and I attack instead. I pulled off some miracle time without even trying on my lunch break today that I can't even come close to replicating. I have no idea how I did it. I even got beat up a lot by Mitsurugi at the end. This is so frustrating.

I find myself playing way worse when I'm tired. It feels like I'm playing exactly the same, but I find myself missing swipes and dropping combos all over the place.
It's a bit better now that autoreload means I don't need to be rolling nonstop, but I still try to get my BGHSing in early if I need to do anything particularly difficult.

For the third hard map, I found it best to not be gimmicky and literally just build 3 separate strong characters with as large base SP pools as possible and SP up passives that activate at low time.
HP is just a lost cause on that map unless you have 3 HP drain weapons as wasting SP on healing skills just isn't viable for clearing everything.

Build a team revolving around SP cost reduction and SP boosts. Characters like Valentine Sakura and even the long forgotten Yukata Kurumi work fine for the stage. If you have Tiara Group Miki, you practically save 20 seconds with just her alone but I wasn't lucky with that shitty gacha. I was able to clear that with 100% HP in 65 seconds without that Miki.

I was going to guess New Year's Mumi (Hammer) using Princess Hammer and Animal Renge or something. I actually have that Mumi, that Renge, and Bathing Haruka instead of your Bathing Sadone.
My best time on the hell stage is 110 seconds, and that's using Idol Group Mumi's skill and SP UP girl's link. I don't see what you could do that I couldn't do for us to have such a large time discrepancy. I was stunned that I was able to beat it in 110 seconds.

I got to Mitsurugi in about 34 seconds but I forgot to get skill burst on Mumi so I wasted a bit of extra time on her.
You need every piece of the puzzle to get below 40 seconds. Niche shit like Haruka's Lily spear is required for the SP recovery since Mumi needs to clear stuff at the start, middle and then kill Mitsurugi off herself. Sadone was there to power through the gaps in the stage.

Senbatsu gives 96, and they've been doing a test with every event recently.
Then 154 for daily gems over 14 days.

Juxtaposition, it's just not exciting. Sakura's passiveness plus the subdued feel of an Eastern Bridal outfit together is bland. It's fitting for her, but due to that it's within expectations and ultimately boring. Contrasting her personality with a flashy wedding gown would work better.
Though yeah, it also works like that on the other side. The majority of these wedding dress cards seem boring honestly.
The girl's personalities don't shine in the art very well, but instead accentuate something else. Though that accentuation is a strong feature.
Miki offering her ring finger feels like the strongest card art. It however sucks because Miki. Honestly though I'd probably stlil rank it the best of the bunch.
Kurumi is puckering up for the kiss, knowing character and her autism however makes the kiss feel very unromantic to me. Like she isn't fully apprehensive of the meaning of it.
Nozomi at the beach ain't bad. It's detailed and is growing on me the more I look at it. The sun's shining, the wind's blowing, and she's taken off her shoes to walk on the sand. I dislike the braid though. Her hair fluttering seems like it might've been a better effect.
Kanon's boobs are weird. Actually now that I look at her more, her entire torso appears a bit off. I'm kind of disappointed the rose isn't thorny. The card gives me a feeling of theatricalness where Kanon herself is acting as well.Now make fun of me for the amount of thought I put into this.

I honestly find the set pretty skippable so far.
Slightly because the art in some of them feels off(Yuri's mouth looks weird, the way the hair covers her left cheek also makes her chin look off) and also because so many wedding dresses at once really takes away the impact. It also didn't help that my favorite girls didn't get the most flattering card art.
Also wedding dresses make especially poor everyday wear. They're just big poofy white dresses when not at a wedding.

Need some suggestions for cheesing damage with sword in BGHS. Rather, who to give sword crystals to.
I have two no-damage cards, Santa Kurumi and Tiara Kurumi
212 sp and 13 combo vs 244 and 14 combo, damage is about the same, duration is the same 15 sec but Tiara eventually gives 50% attack damage too.
And two no-knockback cards
After bath Sakura and Bathing Shiho
10 sec vs 15 sec
But Sakura gives 25% damage and skill damage buff
Testing now, Sakura's duration expires when cycling back to it, and Tiara Kurumi's will expire for a split second if I don't have -1 combo on the team or have to dodge to avoid ailments or close distance.
