This day in history, May 28th:
621 – Battle of Hulao: Li Shimin, the son of the Chinese emperor Gaozu, defeats the numerically superior forces of Dou Jiande near the Hulao Pass (Henan). This victory decides the outcome of the civil war that followed the Sui dynasty's collapse in favour of the Tang dynasty.
1588 – The Spanish Armada, with 130 ships and 30,000 men, sets sail from Lisbon, Portugal, heading for the English Channel. (It will take until May 30 for all ships to leave port.)
1905 – Russo-Japanese War: The Battle of Tsushima ends with the destruction of the Russian Baltic Fleet by Admiral Tōgō Heihachirō and the Imperial Japanese Navy.

I really wish ck2's economy and trade were a bit more in depth.
they could expand upon horse lords and make it so that emmpty holdings in any non desert/tundra province (for every government type) are farms and provide whatever crop/animal product that's preordained for that province. things like droughts would matter more. you'd gain/lose population based on your food situation
you could expand NAPs to include trade alliances with your neighbors where you trade your excess goods. you'd have to add goods beyond food, but I don't have any idea for that. if you trade with people who aren't right next to your boarder, it'd create a trade route betwen you that you'd want to defend
expand upon the silk road to have trade routes in more places. instead of it getting blocked completely by war, have the actual route it takes be dynamic. war blocking the way in provinces it normally takes? it'll go north where it's safer. could also make it so it's more likely to go through feudal lands than nomad lands unless the nomads control a large part of the route. provinces could maybe get modifiers if they're regularly fought over, and the trade route would be less likely to go through there if their current route gets blocked

On 22 March 1917, Nicholas, no longer a monarch and addressed with contempt by the sentries as "Nicholas Romanov", was reunited with his family at the Alexander Palace in Tsarskoe Selo. He was placed under house arrest with his family by the Provisional Government, surrounded by guards and confined to their quarters.

In August 1917, Alexander Kerensky's provisional government evacuated the Romanovs to Tobolsk, allegedly to protect them from the rising tide of revolution. There they lived in the former governor's mansion in considerable comfort. After the Bolsheviks came to power in October 1917, the conditions of their imprisonment grew stricter, and talk of putting Nicholas on trial grew more frequent. Nicholas was forbidden to wear epaulettes, and the sentries scrawled lewd drawings on the fence to offend his daughters. On 1 March 1918, the family was placed on soldier's rations, which meant parting with 10 devoted servants and giving up butter and coffee.

As the Bolsheviks gathered strength, the government in April moved Nicholas, Alexandra, and their daughter Maria to Yekaterinburg under the direction of Vasily Yakovlev. Alexei was too ill to accompany his parents and remained with his sisters Olga, Tatiana, and Anastasia, not leaving Tobolsk until May 1918. The family was imprisoned with a few remaining retainers in Yekaterinburg's Ipatiev House, which was designated The House of Special Purpose.

The Romanovs were being held by the Red Army in Yekaterinburg, since Bolsheviks initially wanted to put them on trial. As the civil war continued and the White Army (a loose alliance of anti-Communist forces) was threatening to capture the city, the fear was that the Romanovs would fall into White hands. This was unacceptable to the Bolsheviks for two reasons: first, the tsar or any of his family members could provide a beacon to rally support to the White cause; second, the tsar, or any of his family members if the tsar were dead, would be considered the legitimate ruler of Russia by the other European nations. This would have meant the ability to negotiate for greater foreign intervention on behalf of the Whites. Soon after the family was executed, the city fell to the White Army.

The opening up of the Soviet archives in the 1990s showed that, in fact, the decision to execute the Romanov family was taken by Lenin in the first week of July 1918, as he was advised to by Filipp Goloshchyokin. Goloshchyokin had been sent to Ekaterinburg to organise the execution, and had sent Lenin a coded telegram on 16 July 1918 informing him that the execution had to take place because the Czech Legion was surrounding the city.

In mid-July 1918, forces of the Czechoslovak Legion were closing on Yekaterinburg, to protect the Trans-Siberian Railway, of which they had control. According to historian David Bullock, the Bolsheviks falsely believed that the Czechoslovaks were on a mission to rescue the family, panicked and executed their wards. The Legions arrived less than a week later and on July 25 captured the city.

During the imperial family's imprisonment in late June, Petr Voikov directed the smuggling of letters written in French to the Ipatiev House claiming to be a monarchist officer seeking to rescue them, composed at the behest of the Cheka. These fabricated letters, along with the Romanov responses to them (written either on blank spaces or on the envelope), were ultimately used by Lenin's government to justify murdering the imperial family.

Around midnight, Yakov Yurovsky, the commandant of The House of Special Purpose, ordered the Romanovs' physician, Dr. Eugene Botkin, to awaken the sleeping family and ask them to put on their clothes, under the pretext that the family would be moved to a safe location due to impending chaos in Yekaterinburg. The Romanovs were then ordered into a 6m×5m semi-basement room. Nicholas asked if Yurovsky could bring two chairs, on which Tsarevich Alexei and Alexandra sat.

The prisoners were told to wait in the cellar room while the truck that would transport them was being brought to the House. A few minutes later, an execution squad of secret police was brought in and Yurovsky read aloud the order given him by the Ural Executive Committee:

>Nikolai Alexandrovich, in view of the fact that your relatives are continuing their attack on Soviet Russia, the Ural Executive Committee has decided to execute you.

Nicholas, facing his family, turned and said "What? What?" Yurovsky quickly repeated the order and the weapons were raised. The Empress and Grand Duchess Olga, according to a guard's reminiscence, had tried to cross themselves, but failed amid the shooting. Yurovsky reportedly raised his gun at Nicholas's torso and fired; Nicholas fell dead. Yurovsky then shot Alexei. The other executioners then began shooting chaotically until all the intended victims had fallen. Several more shots were fired and the doors opened to scatter the smoke. There were some survivors, so Peter Ermakov stabbed them with bayonets because the shots could be heard outside. The last to die were Tatiana, Anastasia, and Maria, who were carrying a few pounds (over 1.3 kg) of diamonds sewn into their clothing, which had given them a degree of protection from the firing. However, they were speared with bayonets as well. Olga sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Maria and Anastasia were said to have crouched up against a wall covering their heads in terror until they were shot down. Yurovsky himself killed Tatiana and Alexei. Tatiana died from a single bullet through the back of her head. Alexei received two bullets to the head, right behind the ear after the executioners realized he had not been killed by the first shot. Anna Demidova, Alexandra's maid, survived the initial onslaught but was quickly stabbed to death against the back wall while trying to defend herself with a small pillow which she had carried that was filled with precious gems and jewels.

In 1343, King Diego the "JUST", having spent his life uniting the realm, had his stable vision for the the future of his house turned slightly astray when a Polish prince from a cadet branch of the Jimena family was set to take the throne.

As is tradition, the dukes of Navarra saw it a fit opportunity to try and wrestle away the absolute power the king now held, before he knew how to deal it. If they had read in the history books, they'd know that Navarran tradition when dealing with traitors is beheading.

An official announcement appeared in the national press, two days later. It reported that the monarch had been executed on the order of Uralispolkom under pressure posed by the approach of the Czechoslovaks. Although official Soviet accounts place the responsibility for the decision with the Uralispolkom, Leon Trotsky in his diary reportedly suggested Vladimir Lenin. Trotsky wrote:

>My next visit to Moscow took place after the fall of Yekaterinburg. Talking to Sverdlov I asked in passing:
>Oh yes and where is the Tsar?
>It's all over, he has been shot.
>And where is his family?
>And the family with him.
>All of them? I asked, apparently with a touch of surprise.
>All of them, replied Yakov Sverdlov.
>What about it?
>He was waiting to see my reaction. I made no reply.
>And who made the decision? I asked.
>We decided it here. Ilyich [Lenin] believed that we shouldn't leave the Whites a live banner to rally around, especially under the present difficult circumstances.

I'm new to CK2. I just conquered Norway and I'm trying my best to take in all the new information that comes with conquering an entire kingdom and gaining tons of new vassals and so on.

One thing I'd like to know if it's possible to ''re-arrange'' who holds what counties and such, without infuriating people.

I'd like to maximize my demesne in the most attractive counties, and then spread out the remaining demesne amongst my subjects, is this possible or should I just go with what counties, jarldoms and chiefdoms my new vassals came with?

Plot to revoke counties/duchies, marry family members into the family holding the title and assassinate your way into inheriting it, discover if they're plotting anything so you can imprison and revoke title

Time for some nighttime Napoleon.

>>143501861
Christmas day 1924--the same time that France's army reform was finalized, almost two years after the reform program began--Napoleon V spent most of his time away from his wife and young son, arguing with members of the Assembly, themselves irate over being pulled from their own families, over finances being diverted to a large-scale shipbuilding program.

According to French spy networks, in response to France's army buildup, Britain has shipped most of her colonial troops back home and has undertaken a furious bout of shipbuilding, which Napoleon V characterizes as a "clear act of aggression" against France.

"What motivation could Great Britain have in constructing an even more massive navy than our own," the monarch reasoned, "but to use it in an offensive against France? All evidence suggests it. They recall all their colonial troops, they build frigates and destroyers aplenty. Clearly they intend to strike at us, the greatest of all Latin nations, to save their detestable Germanic brethren!"

The majority of the Assembly is not motivated by Napoleon V's racist ramblings, especially not the mighty Socialists, who enjoy a single-party plurality. Yet the Assembly is still operating under an AF coalition government, and ever since the AF was placed in power they have been gradually weakening the other parties and swallowing up people of even moderately similar ideologies into their ranks. The Royaliste and Nationaliste parties have largely been absorbed into the AF, and every day the coalition government under Maurras expands its control and pours out pro-Napoleonic--and pro-AF--propoganda leaflets. In the face of rapidly-shifting public opinion and a majority in the Assembly, other parties are powerless to stop Napoleon's goal. They can only serve to limit him, to 10 more battleships and 50 new cruisers.

To the contrary, Napoleon III was really pretty buoyant until the last years of his life. Napoleon IV was long-suffering while he was Prince Regent, but wasn't really depressed until he had to kill his father. Joseph is just an edgy fuck though, I give you that.

>>143599486
They actually did. Pulled their 400,000 total troops in Nigeria and Gambia out (they only have ~65,000 there now) and built up their navy so extensively their military score now exceeds my own, even with my huge buildup. That's most of the reason why I'm building my own navy up, so I have a chance against them in the dismantlement war.

Approximately a year and a half later, the naval reform is completed. France now has two main-line combat navies, comprised of some of the most advanced vessels in the world. She fields ten super-heavy battleships, an incredible fifty battleships, and fifty cruiser support vessels, split into two equal navies, the First and Second fleets.

Napoleon V appears particularly pleased as he personally christens the Charlemagne, one of France's brand-new battleships.

"With the navy that the Assembly has entrusted to me," the monarch began following the ceremony, "France is now once again safe from external German threat! Our army protects us, and our navy shields us. I know that many have grumbled about the costs of supporting such things, but worry not! The state, under your monarch, has not forgotten you. Today I am as pleased to christen these fine new vessels as I am to announce a universal tax reduction!"

Although members of the Assembly went apoplectic at the news (especially since Napoleon V promised a 25% tax reduction on the poor!), checking the AF's ledgers led them to a shocking conclusion: Joseph was not actually dooming them all. Somehow France could afford to reduce the tax levels whilst still running in the black. Admittedly, it was with the army and navy on minimal funding, but it was an achievement which could not have been accomplished even two years before.

The people are thrilled at the expansion of France's power abroad and her simultaneous reduction of taxation at home; they hail Napoleon V as a genius, the best administrator since Napoleon himself. Joseph is eager to bask in the praise, and the support of AF which inevitably comes along with it.

About an year ago, the fascist party rose to power in a controversial election. Opponents, part of the old political structures of the Confederacy that had ruled since 1862, contested its results, claiming all sorts of irregularities had been altered the results. It did not matter.

In an inflamed speech, the new president pointed out the failure of the Union and the Confederacy both. "Here we are, on a great virgin land our ancestors came to settle, and what did we do with it? We tamed it, civilized it, improved it, we built - and then greed tore us apart. Instead of tending to our fields, we brought negroes to do it. Meanwhile, our own people starve for lack of work, or lie in the filth of cities, dying for wages that cannot support a family. We have immense potential for wealth, and we let parasites take it for themselves and their africans. Fifty years since secession, and we have done no better. While the Union cared for nothing but profit in their factories, we did the same in our farms. This will no longer be accepted. Enough political squabbling. This land belongs to us, the people of Europe who left for a brave land with no kings. Capitalism is feudalism by another name. Slavery is serfdom by another name. It is time for a new direction, a new future for an American people that is willing to bleed for a pure and wealthy land, free of decadence."

The message was not lost on the Union. For five decades, it had repeatedly attempted to subjugate the Confederacy when it attempted nothing but coexistence, often getting dangerously close to its goal. They now saw the writing on the wall - the confederates were no longer content with mere survival. They wanted all that America once was, and all that it could be. They did not wait - with twice the population and a much larger army and economy, they declared one more war of agression - and neither side was ready to accept any less than total victory.

In late September Napoleon V receives word that the Austrians have declared war against Germany to release the nation of Bavaria, a state which Franz III claims "never wished to be integrated into Drexler's state, and only did so whilst disarmed and at gunpoint."

Although Franz and his parliament's decision is noble, it's also stupid. Even with Hitler a bumbling fool and a large socialist rebellion underway in Wurttemberg, Hitler is still able to call on the resources of his Fascist ally in Amsterdam, H. A. Sinclair de Rochemont. de Rochemont's forces alone are likely sufficient to defeat the forces of Franz III, and the world once again holds its breath, wondering what Hitler will do to the Austrian state.

"The Germanics are stirring," Napoleon V spoke quietly to Maurras at a state dinner on the night of the 22nd. "They fight themselves, for now, but as soon as their barbarian instincts calm enough to realize that their enemies still surround them, their ire will turn outwards again. We have done all that we can to prepare; the time for action has come. Gather up Pujo, Vaugeois, Marshal Cousin-Mountauban, and August. I want to meet them on the 1st to discuss matters."

The war has dragged on for about an year and a half. It has been very bloody, with both sides discovering the horrors of chemical weapons and neither coming up with effective ways to counter it. The Confederacy, with its smaller army and weaker economy, concentrated its professional army on defending the eastern coast and attacking the Union as possible. This strategy has payed off - while much of the country's west is completely occupied, the Union's industrial and political centers are completely occupied, and most of its armies - including its mobilized masses - completely destroyed. The USA now sues for peace - but the Confederacy will have none of it. Keeping the army supplied and losing much of the country has been an immense drain on the state's coffers - but victory has been guaranteed. The armies - bloodied, but proud and in high spirits - have now only stragglers left to deal with, and a lot of land to cover. Liberating the western states and occupying the rest of the Union is now just a matter of time. It is time for a new America.

Whilst the Austro-German war raged, on the evening of October 1st, 1926, six of the most powerful men in France gathered around a fire in the reading room of Napoleon V's Paris residence, the Tuileries Palace, to decide the future of the world.

The meeting itself would go on to be famous, inspiring paintings and parodies, reverence and outrage. It was a favorite topic of Communists for a long time, used as an example of the bourgeoisie scheming together to destroy states and enslave the worker.

Yet, in spite of the meeting's historical context, the most critical part of the night was the outcome: the most powerful men in France united behind the will of Napoleon V. In spite of the immense danger of the war Napoleon-Joseph proposed, and the questionable reasons he had to undertake it, all present at the meeting, on the basis of their loyalty to the house of Bonaparte, swore to follow through with Napoleon V's commands. There would be war with Britain.

"In many ways, they are the most dangerous of all Germanic states," Napoleon-Joseph mused. "They possess enough mongrel Latin blood in them to have higher reasoning, but far too much Germanic blood to use it for any more than barbarous purposes. To that add their isolationism and their mighty navy, and they are a force which is almost impossible to reach. And, if reached, to reckon with.

"Yet we must reckon with them. We must destroy them before their insidious spies infiltrate our lands and coerce our people into betraying us, as the Badenese did in the 1890s. They caused the rebellions of that decade, and that is only one facet of their much greater, indeed international, power. I believe the United States has already fallen to their foul influence and, if so, time is of the essence. If we do not defeat them now, I fear that they will destroy everything we have built."
>>
>>143607617
Then you should have fixed it before now.
>>
>>143607887
Yeah, the problem is that I made the CSA flags back when I was just beggining to get into the whole flag-making thing, and I wasn't as rigorous as I am today when it comes to colour and quality of flags, which is why I left many vanilla flags stand that today I wouldn't tolerate. That's why in the later versions of the pack I've revisited many countries I've made flags for already in order to make a more strict quality control.

After Diego II's suicide, his grandson Wawrzyniec Jimena travelled from Silesia to take his place on the Navarran throne. This outsider taking the throne over the Basque nobles already situated there angered the nobles, who worked together to poison the new king.

His son, Antso, took the throne at age 2, and the nobles finally got their power back in the form of a council (in no small part due to the regent being part of this new council).

This was not enough for the more ambitious dukes however, and once Antso came of age, all but two of the dukes declared they would not serve a foreign king. Unfortunately for them, the large treasury built up over the new king's regency - even allowing for some double dipping from the regent - meant that mercenaries were almost piling themselves at his feet for the opportunity to serve.

The dukes lost the civil war, and now they pay the highest price.

On January 15th, Napoleon V was informed that the President of the United States of America, Calvin Coolidge, was willing to enter into an alliance of convenience with the French monarchy.

According to the diplomatic missive--which Napoleon V read three times to ensure there was no ulterior motive or "tricky scheme" of what he believed was a German-controlled nation--Coolidge was willing to commit American forces to a limited engagement against the British in Canada. Apparently, it was the opinion of the Republican party that strict British economic relations with Canada was stifling New English trade, to the extent that Coolidge believed a "nice, quick" war with Britain might be able to "solve the problem entirely."

"I have never been so happy to be wrong in all of my days!" a gushing Napoleon-Joseph told his wife Yolanda that night. "America, still free of the Germanic taint! They were founded by the Anglo-Saxon, but immigration of true Latins has appeared to dilute their impure heritage. Who would have thought such a thing, truly? Well, it's all to the good; war with Britain is imminent, and we can use all the strong allies we can muster. I have no doubts now that we might achieve victory!"

Yolanda, as usual, listened with boredom. She wondered absently what her husband would do if he knew she was sleeping with their Rhenish butler.

And no, you're not mistaken, that's 30% soldiers and TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT BUREAUCRATS in D.C. W-E-W.

Honestly, /gsg/ has to be the worst board for copy pastas, no where else do you see it, it's repetative, it's vexatious, and ai'm pretty sure there are a few other good words I could use to sum it up if me mum hadn't sold me thesaurus to gypos. It's not just the abstract inaptitude of it all, but the sheer pomposity of those involved, some of whom have no idea what the implications of their perpetual literary suicide has for our general, yes, there is, often, humour to be had. But too often, and more often still are we simply met with threads bombasted by the meaningless witterings that combine the most inflammatory responses with the inevitable inconsequential gurglings of a person who has no dignity or fortitude in his own right. I stand against those who wish to see this general subject to the whims and tribulations of the cancerous clique who contaminate our community consciousness and cast craven cynicalism abound. And if you have any strength of conviction or integrity you too shall rue the behemoth that is the copypasta and strike at the heart of the eternal, infernal, internal death which sows itself deep in the skin of this house with which we wish to sweep away the neverending memery. Vote UKIP.

Strangely enough, 1.7 is balanced and fun even in vanilla. In terms of mods, I think BDSM got updated recently, but its kind of bloated.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but mana balance in 1.7 feels right, and the mana system doesn't feel worse than Eu3 and provides reasonable limitations on actions.

Release and 1 year post release EU4 was dogshit, boring, and not fun in the slightest. However I'd say at this point (with the exception of the pants on head retarded blobbing in Europe and its representation of central africa) it does a better time of portraying its time period than Vicky 2 does.

V2 fails because it doesn't model several of the most important trends in the time period. For example, there is no incentive to not democratize if you're a monarchy, and pleasing the aristocracy/capitalists or pissing them off never ever matters due to their small numbers, which is exactly the opposite of how every government in the time period thought and functioned. There is no trade off between satisfying the influential upper classes and placating the lower classes, and the game's economy simply does not function without extensive modding.

In the lead-up to the war with Britain, Napoleon V's greatest concern (aside from the Assembly's outrage when they were informed by Maurras that they were expected to declare war on Britain with simply two days' notice) lie in France's finances. With army funding on 10% and naval funding at 40%, it was true that he had been able to cut taxes. But now that was was almost upon France such a luxury was not possible, and it had become all-too-evident precisely how expensive Napoleon's new model army was: even with taxes on all French citizens increased to "emergency levels" and funding to his soldiers cut as low as he dared, France was still hemorrhaging money at a rate of almost 2,000 pounds per day.

This was on top of the increasing number of hungry lining the streets of cities all over France, bereft of necessary foodstuffs by the massive increase to the cost of basic goods which went along with France's armies gearing up for combat. The French forces consumed so much food that industry simply could not produce enough for the people, especially not at inflated prices now that it was in such high demand.

As a consequence, the support for this "mad endeavour" was rapidly waning among the people, who saw the writing on the wall from the moment taxes were increased. "I don't mind fighting the British if our Emperor deems it necessary," one Parisian wrote in their diary, "but I do mind dying as a consequence of doing so, and not even in the course of the fighting! Bread here is so expensive that I know at least a full dozen people who are on half their normal take or less! The emergency taxes instituted by the Emperor are so maddeningly high that almost no citizen supports this war any longer."

Nevertheless, as usual, Napoleon-Joseph was adamant: in spite of all hardships, the Latin people must prevail. That meant war with Britain, to be declared on April 1st, 1927.

Done for tonight. Combat plans and the war itself will come tomorrow.

I have a feeling you're probably shitposting, but I don't know what you mean about the atheism thing. If you're referring to how Napoleon V sees religion as a means to an end, that was based on Maurras's views towards religion, as well as those of Hitler. I felt it would be sensible for Napoleon, considering he founded the party with Maurras, to share some of his beliefs.

As for the cucking, it's not a fetish you literal meme. Do you think Nappy V is an easy person to get along with? He's a literal sperg. Desu it would literally be unrealistic to have anybody but sycophants tolerate him.

Tariffs are actually a pretty terrible idea for me. My tariff efficiency is so high because of the Suez and Panama canals that even 5%, although it'll net me a shitton of money, will cause the starvation conditions in France to accelerate significantly.

I'll turn tariffs up in the event the war drags on for a long time, but I'm going to try to avoid it for as long as I can. My people are already having a tough enough time getting basic goods.

Why did no European power do anything about the ethnic Assyrians and Christians living in Jerusalem then?
And why did so many liberal laws come around specifically in the 20th century if most European governments were nearly entirely composed of "religious" people, just like the US today?
>>
>>143615681
>blobbing is easy but realistic for time period,
This. Take a single European province? Entirety of Europe coalitions you. Take the entire continent of Asia? No one gives a fuck.
Compare that to victoria2, where colonial blobbing can easily get your infamy to 25 if you're not careful.
The EU4 infamy system is far superior.

An exaggeration, but half-true, aggressive expansion penalty is meaningless outside of Europe, but I feel that it works just fine within Europe. Taking HRE provinces should be a big deal.
>>
>>143616236
>Why did no European power do anything about the ethnic Assyrians and Christians living in Jerusalem then?
Because the 19th century was an era of realpolitik, crusading for the holy land was against the balance of power in many ways, cthat's why when the Russians eventually did invade, "for Christendom", France and Britain attacked them. The need for either side to stop the other gaining an advantage outwated whatever symbolic good reclaiming the holyland could achieve.

>And why did so many liberal laws come around specifically in the 20th century if most European governments were nearly entirely composed of "religious" people, just like the US today?
Because Napoleon was a jacobin scumback who's rule was NOT ordained by the lord almighty. This is what happens when you give non nobles political power.

Alright I have been putting this off for the entire time you've been doing this, over a month now, atleast. I am really fucking annoyed by this meme. Victoria 2 is a great game, by far the greatest grand strategy of all time, in no other game can you manage an economy, your pops, your diplomacy, your taxes, your army and your sphere of influence at the same time. Victoria 2 takes every element of every game and makes it great. Your pathetic fucking mana/dynasty/OoB/insert single issue game simply can't compete. I've tried playing them, believe me. They are pathetic. You play them and you only have to manage one, maybe, two things. Hah, what is this mess? It's a botched job. A complete write off. And sure, if you like that sort of purile simplistic shit then more power too you, it's not my job to kick down your sandcastle. But why must I spend my time arguing this with you? Just because Victoria 2 is too complex for you doesn't mean it is for everyone. And when challenged you crawl back into your same abhorrent memery, because that's all this is, you don't have the slightest clue what you're saying or who you're messing with, because if you did you'd stop. Go back to playing your blob simulator, little man, because this general belongs to us. The true strategy gamers. Not your lame, disgusting casual shit. And you know the worst part? We can't even meme back. Hell, I'm sure there's some really overpowered trade good in EU4, but we can't say "hurr durr naval supplies" or whatever because the simple fact is nobody has played your favoured game since EU3, back before they dumbed it down for people like you. So well done, my friend, you made an intellectual victoria 2 fan MAD.
