Why is all the advertising operating under the idea that the story is about this defunct superhero organization getting the band back together to solve crises around the world when the game it's selling is just all these heroes and a handful of villains beating each other to death?

When he kills he copies the kill. Plus he can use Q at any time to change into anyone else he has killed. While looking like another champion he has their abilities and stats, except no Q ability. If he dies he loses all the hero data and has to collect them again. spawns as random hero.
