How about making the hp regeneration variable
Cyst, Clot, Slasher, Crawler, Stalker - 2hp
Bloat, Gorefast - 5hp
Husk, Siren - 10hp
Scrake, Fleshpound - 20hp
The numbers are big, but 100/100 hp/armor can go down really fast on higher difficulties. And this is the problem, TWI balance the game around Normal/Hard, so it will be OP on those levels

I'll never understand why they thought this was a good idea. Every single person sincerely participating in balance debates on their site ever since KF1 have always been Sui/HoE players.

I doubt people who consider Normal/Hard an adequate challenge would even care that much about the balance unless it was stupidly hard for those modes.

Yes as it's currently designed it's an early game thing due to the tiny as fuck health pool when compared to fort. Additionally health on kill is stupid as it only encourages last hit on larger zeds which is not how bezerker works. Additionally the fact that a crawler kill yields as much hp as a fleshpound kill is infinitely retarded.

As such we can clearly see this perk is not well designed and does not belong in the current 'meta'. It needs to be made so that it's not a death sentence and is instead a viable alternative playstyle to having a medic plugged up your ass

There are two options, you're either good at killing everything or excellent at taking down scrakes and fleshpounds. I prefer the second choice, so I always keep Rack'em up maxed and use Medic Pistol to help with thrash, I don't try to hold a chokepoint by myself, I rather just support everybody with killing crawlers and healing. I don't care about kills that much, my job is killing SC/FP in few seconds.

On Suicide Scrakes die with one crossbow and 4 magnum shots to the head, so they're a little threat and can be dealt with from any distance. With Fleshpound it takes one crossbow and magdumping dual deagles to the head if I can get close. If I can't get close, few deagle shots to the head, run to a safe spot, stun him in front of me, magdump deagles, finish with magnum if missed some shots. All kills should take no more than one stun.

The necessary thing is having the aggro, so it will come after you, thus one zerker hitting everything with pulverizer can fuck up all the plan. Might as well just support him with killing thrash around him or just leave him to die so you will have easier time now.

The bigger problems beside flespounds and scrakes are other zeds, you don't want to get overrun. Before attempting the kill, make sure your workspace is safe from any danger. One crawler ruining your aiming might result in your death.

You also want to conserve ammo. If you're going to kill all the big guys, you can run dry pretty fast. Use medic pistol on thrash, magnum to one shot sirens and husks (because I can't kill them with one deagle to the head anymore, wtf?), and deagles when you're kiting and don't know what's around the corner.

That's how I play GS at the moment, 20+ big guys kills every game.

Honestly part of me thinks that they put it in to help combat zerker walling but mostly because sharpshooter would be way too strong if they could just sit there and line up headshots. It does a little to prevent walling. It makes it a lot harder in a map like farmhouse. Overall though I think it needs work. A crawler kicking a full grown man a foot or two away is bullshit and it's already hard enough for most perks like commando to line up headshots with the erratic zed movements.

If anything the KF2 husks are far more nightmare than KF1 variants, the ones in KF1 were a minor annoyance at best when all they did was potshot and slap you if you got close.

You don't use it for trash, as ammo pool is rather small for that. Just charge away when you see a Scrake or Husk and shoot. Sirens will be silenced with one tap and you'll finish them with your sidearm whether it be the MAC10 or Flares.
Fleshpounds generally should be left to the other perks. If you're really desperate you can grab a ZED Mk2.0 as a sidearm to damage them better when you keep Sirens silenced at the same time. Support and Demolitions would love you for it.
If you're really into soloing Fleshpound, 2 full charge (3 seconds) and a third charged (one second) charged 3 headshots will be able to finish him. Some initiates with incendiary then hides from eyesight (he should see no one as this happens) before attempting that, to cancel his damage threshold rage for a few seconds to buy time.

In my opinion if a team needs a door welded down they either change the spot by sliding away or shut up and help you about it. I never like suppweldan non-stop as well as doorzerks, it slows down the game to a snailpace.
If you can handle anything that can come from the door, you can surely keep it open as long as you have space to cut down the trash before engaging the big target. As a Support try to train on Scrake uppercuts and Fleshpound nade combos, but beware; Support simply gets shut down by the mere presence of Sirens. Your best bet would be laning with a Demolition or a Firebug (yuck) to keep the supression toned down from such freaks. Support can synergize pretty well with both perks, Demolition can kill FP or slowrage Scrakes, Firebug can silence Sirens, attracts Husk shots and kill Scrake
As for doors; they can be welded and hold under control unless it attracts something big, or a bunch of Gorefasts shanking at the door which requires you to unweld and clear, then do close-open checks for spawns before welding again. If Support has a helping hand, welding is not required. It's only meant for bad Supps who can't kill shit with combos

If there's someone especially good for FPs, yeah, leaving it to them is fine.

Fully charged headshots do plenty of head damage to FPs too, but no feedback and time to charge another like how SC gets stunned. So I found it far less intuitive, fun, and useful against FPs.

None, I spent a few seconds jumping around like a dumbass trying to escape, looking for a way out, then gave up and spent the rest of the 7 spamming m2. I count the time between getting sandwiched to finally killing the fleshpounds bodyblocking me. If you're not satisfied then call it 6 seconds. The point is berserker is really incredibly hard to lose with.

Focusing on the new cash grab
Remember when we had an update which gave us two of the perks, a few based characters and maps?
It got slightly worse but had some light, we got just gunslinger but we also had a new boss in patty coming back to keep us interested and 2 maps, one of which is boxed as fuck.
Now we're getting bits and pieces, unless TW do something massive to compensate for this large wait outside of just delivering the rest of SS, it wont be the same.

I really don't feel like the game is bad. I have fun whenever I play it. It needs work sure, but it's also in EA and they're actively (slowly but actively) working on it. I think the recent round of improvements have been great for the game and once SS are in and they rework hans I have pretty high hopes for it.

The reason the game is dead is because its A) early access and B) incredibly repetitive gameplay that doesn't appeal to a mass audience as something like tf2 does.

I remember someone made a video on the basics but from what i remember of it:

Zerk should have a speed bonus since he needs to get in enemies faces, but it shouldn't be THAT quick considering he can soak and block off hits.
Chances are they'll give zerk like 10% movement speed all round and give all that speed to MA once it comes out.

In KF1 ms did matter because you could not block/parry. In KF2 zerk is tanky as fuck and fast as fuck, he should not have both.

How often do people block/parry trash? I only do that if it's a clutch and i'm at 5 health. Otherwise, never. It's useless against trash when you can just run away from attacks. You shouldn't be able to.

That will do nothing with zerkwalling, you either zerkwall or not. No matter what, if zerkwalling will be even a little bit more effective than anything else, people will use it. And by far it is a LOT more effective than anything else. Zerkwalling is mostly the problem of the maps, not skills or perks. No way to fix it without nerfing zerks and/or medics to the ground or killing all camping strategies for good.
