This is something I don't understand. I have literally never had 4.5k life. Most I reached was 4400 at level 92 with Kaom's on a RF Templar. All the other gear had high life rolls.
How the hell do you people get such high life? I assume it's by taking tons of life % nodes on the tree - so my real question is: how the hell do you people have any fun playing this game? Everyone else must be grinding along at lazy river speeds just to avoid dying. I prefer to kill everything before I even see it and avoid dying that way (while also having fun by moving quickly).

The aoe makes the explosions of the projectiles bigger. Proj speed would mean the pojectiles fly a longer distance. So aoe gives you overlapping explosions resulting in more fun (dps) and proj speed less single target dps.
