No they're actually quite good and fun to play but I will say that if you want to go Monk you should go for Monk 3 to make the most out of Energy Blast and 1-Inch Punch as those are your other 2 best damage skills aside from double punch. What you decide to run alongside your Monk build can vary based on what you find is important.
Keep in mind your damage won't be absurd like rank 7 Archers or mages but you have steady damage with DoTs and double punch spam. You can do quite a bit of damage quickly and have good magic burst with rank 10+ Energy Blast. The buff increased the damage ticks and their is an attribute to take away the knockback/down for party play.

I went triple priest to get Stone Skin, Mass Heal, Revive and Resurrection.
1 point in Monstrance for the flat 50% DEX bonus.
3 points in Blessing and max attribute so I could allocate points elsewhere.
You honestly can pick whatever you want before Monk, just get things that fit how you want to play. Krivis has Zalcai, Dievdirbys is fucking ridiculous and Cleric 2 is the true Cleric class now.

heal 10, safety zone 500 blocks, fade, statues and carve for leveling, you can even keep your carve level low since you'll have str anyway and max supportive sp/owl statues.
the bad monks are these fuckers who play "priest" ->monk. cleric 2 diev 2 monk is a strong support and decent dps, you will never beat a true support/true dps char in their role, but you can do their job very well, specially in a mixed setup party. just ask for lethargy.

What do you expect from shitters? All jokes aside Monk damage numbers are ass in comparison to the other DPS classes mainly because you are still a rank 5 class regardless of how many circles you've advanced. Your job is to keep your party and yourself alive so obviously you won't have crazy good damage. Rank 8 should hopefully fix this. Palm Strike and 1-Inch Punch can make up for your lackluster base damage with their decent scaling and the fact that they stack and last quite a while. Double punch is an efficient damage skill and with good gear you will do some pretty good damage.

They buffed the animation speed on most of the skills so you can chain them super fast. On Low ping you can cast DP again before the sound effect ends on the previous one.
Energy Blast charge time is no longer static (it takes 1 second of charge per 2 levels now) but it ticks 3 times a second. The damage increase is fucking nice.

You should be fine. You have more tiles for healing which can help shittier parties. With Safety Zone 10 and the attribute you can create a very long lasting safe haven. You lose out on having more Revive up-time and your mass heal is weaker. Stone skin is a godly skill for people that actually run shields but its only good vs non magic enemies so it varies.

Ranger C3 Fletcher C3 is a ktos meta build, it works because they have the OP version of Steady Aim, 45% or some shit, ours goes up to 20%. You don't get it for level 15 Barrage or Spiral Arrow or anything. Level 5 Barrage is fine because Barrage doesnt really get that much better, just buy attribute points. If you're going the Fletcher build, you Barrage 3 times then spam Crossfire 10-15 times. And then sit because you ran out of mana and your SP potion is on CD
To make up for the Steady Aim nerf you go Archer C2 Ranger for Swift Step crit buff and Multishot is always great.
The 4th rank is completely up to you though, it doesn't effect the build majorly. People generally choose Scout because of Cloak has a 100% uptime at level 5

2handed sword builds usually go Full Dex or almost full dex with sensible CON.
This is because 2 handed swords already have one of the highest base damage weapons in the game. Meaning they don't need that much STR. You can place some STR still but DEX is a priority since it allows you to fight in melee range with evasion.

Why don't more Swordsmen max Thrust? The idea is to swap Concentrate for Thrust, hear me out:
- No one uses Concentrate at higher levels because the damage buff is not that big and doesn't stack with multiple lines, plus it's a pain in the ass to keep recasting it all the time
- Thrust has no cooldown and only costs SP, and now that early level quests give lots of mana pots spamming it is no problem
- It deals really nice damage for early levels, has AoE Ratio of 4 and casts reasonably fast
Why don't more people max it? It makes the early leveling experience a lot better for Swordsman.

Because not many people go past Swordsman 1, so it's not like they have to use the attack for any relevant period of time. The only conceivable reason to max Thrust would be if you were going like Swordsman 3 and maxing it at 15, maxing the attributes, buffing up your AOE ratio, and using it as a AOE piercing attack for Fencer, aided by causing the enemy to bleed too if you're using restrain or some other stun source.

Have you read the description for magic arrow? It's literally firing Cure on a 5 second CD. Bodkin Arrow isn't great from what I heard outside of removing defense buffs, the physical reduction is minimal.
Crossfire is one big hit that burns but it's actually overall weaker than Barrage which hits 5 times. Barrage has an 18 second CD though, Crossfire is zero. So you Crossfire, burn, barrage to pick them off or Barrage barrage barrage crossfire etc.

Before you retards start mass rolling Rogue you should know a few things about them.
For starters, the class is fundamentally flawed as a concept. Let's set aside how fucking difficult it is to hit anything important besides crystals with Vendetta. Everyone wants to go a pure STR rogue and get all their crit from sneak hit, but do you really think you're going to survive in melee for anything but bosses to use it with no evasion? Unless you're running a group that's full premade and playing around you being an archer that has to tag melee to shotgun barrage and backstab, you're going to get some aggro on pulls and it's going to kick your ass. The evasion skill is bad and even if you mass level it you're not going to turn shit evasion magically good.
People are really neglecting to mention the downsides of this class right now.

It's really weird. Sometimes it's normal and sometimes it's like sonic speed. I think using skills might be subject to latency though. By which I mean, I think they cause some lag. But then I've been having a weird time lately where skills won't go off when I push the button, but instead they'll happen a little later and as many times as I pushed the button. Like if I'm pryo and pushed fireball, I'll keep auto attacking and then drop a fireball and then another fireball instead of resuming auto attacking because i pushed the button a bunch in frustration. For swordsman, auto attack seems to keep going off even when I'm trying not to attack something. Like even if I try to move somewhere else, the character will be stuck attacking the enemy.

The evasion at level 5 will boost dodge by +50%

I have an archer2>hunter around lvl 70 with a bunch of lvl 3 cards and about 110 STR
Is there any way I can rescue this character? or might as well just delete it? Snatching is amazing, but outside of that I think hunter was a mistake.

Ranger C1 into Fletcher C3 and it'll probably be fine.
Coursing sounds pretty strong with Magic Arrow but it doesnt actually hold bosses down I believe. The def reduction could still be good.

Buff limit is woe of any chaplain. Before I finally got my hands on krivis circle half of my buffs were overwritten by retardation shield and that archer crap. Also hahamen have four or five self-buffs.

Yes, I see your incredible 45% steady aim video. What about it? She uses Evasion not a single time in the first 2 minutes. It's a whole lot of hopping around, backstabbing, barrage, feint and the surprisingly common spiral arrow. She finally uses evasion at like 2:30, but what about it?

She survives pretty well against enemies. So evasion isn't that important after all when you wish to fight in close quarters.
