Not really. Defense is pointless for Loki since ideally you want her to have her shields up at all times. You have SCD if you don't have good cards. If you do have good cards, then you want a healing set for survivability or an attack set for increased DPS, healing being the better of the two.

Carol, easily. Gamora is extremely mediocre, while Carol is a pretty powerful glass cannon that comes in handy for World Boss since she's also an energy damage striker.

Loki trivializes the Supergiant fight more than any other. I was able to beat her first try with Loki without taking any damage. Whereas Black Dwarf, Proxima, and Corvus deal bleed/shock damage through Loki's shields, thus making it so you can still die if you get hit enough even with shields up, Supergiant doesn't and only has like one move that does enough hits in quick succession to even get rid of Loki's shield, so Loki can pretty much face-tank Supergiants attacks while doing major DPS the whole time.
Loki is really good against all of the world bosses (except maybe Thanos, since his homing orb attack strips away Loki's shields and illusions), but they still take learning their attack patterns to be able to win. For Supergiant though, Loki makes the fight almost too easy.

If you want to try for it to maximize your Ant-Man bios, either the YJ or last stage in the Ant-Man Special Missions has Ant-Man shifters occasionally. YJ is split between Ant-Man and Wasp, final stage is split between Ant-Man, Wasp and Vision.

there's a triage of priorities to look for when building cards
upgrade all 1, 2, 3 star slop into 4*. It largely doesn't matter, but you want to try merging them into Loki, Angela, Zombies, Black Widow, 5th card is debatable.
4* is when you start having a chance for a proc to appear, like the set bonuses but shared across all characters. Angela's proc is a 20% heal for example. Plebbit has a list of which cards have which procs, just use my recommendations above
If you get a proc, equip that card. You don't want to replace it unless you get a duplicate of that card, with a higher star amount, with the proc as well.
You generally want All Attack, Skill Cooldown, Dodge, Crit stats, HP, Physical/Energy Attack, various defenses and resists, in that order, your teams and preferences may vary. You're going to have to settle for shit you don't want. The first two stats of a card are fixed, you start getting random stats 3* and up, which is here you have true choice(and RNG).
the card quality is the least important stat on the card. It truly doesn't matter if you have 1 quality handicapping your card if you're lucky enough to land stats you want in the first place. The stat differences between 1 and 6 quality are negligible compared to landing desirable stats(and procs) in the first place.
TL;DR don't give a fuck about card quality, just worry about getting procs, then getting good stats to go with procs.

Quality is randomized each time. It's pure RNG what comes out the other side. You could use all 6 quality cards in the fusion or you could use all 1 quality cards and it wouldn't make any difference.

WS Cap's 3* is an attack + buff. CW Cap's 3* is a buff + summon. Because the summon isn't very strong, some argue it being a straight attack is better since it doesn't open you up to attacks while you're buffing. Other than that, they're the same.
Personally, I got the CW Cap uni mostly because I just prefer the look. The WS Cap uni might be negligibly better depending on what you prioritize. WS Cap will let you keep the offensive up without stopping, so you could keep someone in a stunloop that they won't be able to get out of. CW Cap's summon is good for taking shields off of Loki and Silk since you get more attacks in, and you can use Bucky as a distraction if you needed to gain some distance.
Both are good, but which one is "better" just depends on what you use Cap for.
I thought people said I could beat BD fairly easy if I had a strong enough Loki. That's no were near the case because his moves become impossible to dodge in phase 2 and den in phase 1 because Loki's too slow to run away. It also doesn't help that he can slow you down too

for the long game, you want to funnel them into the Lokis, Angelas, Zombies, and Widows. It's not as advantageous to have, for example, a 6* 1862 card, or whatever the fuck that old west one is. So if you have a pile of cards from multiple rifts via friends or yourself, merge the junky covers into Lokis and Angelas if available. if you dont have those available at low level, do not fret, make 3* and 4*s of crap covers if you must, and eventually they can become fodder to feed a superior cover type. Again, I recommend finding that plebbit list so you can see all the proc potential of the various covers.
The Angela one is a must, since you can only get a heal in Timelines and World Bosses if you are using a healing set(which is uncommon/hard to roll for) or the character has an innate heal(Groot, Kamala, etc). Attack and Defensebonus % are next, followed by cooldown. Im not a big cooldown fan, because you generally get soft-capped by how long animations of the skills are anyways. Find your personal groove
