Alright, haven't played hoi3 in a long time and I'm a bit confused by the wiki entry on command structures.
Theatres apparently give only 6.25% effect of any traits the leader might have.
In another entry it says that a Corps HQ attached directly to a higher command skipping Army/Army Group HQ's will recieve a bonus from the Theatre as if it was in fact an Army HQ (25%)
Could anyone enlighten me on this? The way it was explained was a bit convulted in my opinion.

It's now 1200 and France is Waldensian, the HRE is Fraticelli, Greece is is Iconoclast, Russia is Sunni and there are still a fair few Norse and Slavic pagans.

Anybody had issues with paradox game launching?
Both Vic2 and CK2 just don't launch. Be it by Steam or folder, if I start the application the menu launches, then when I click play it just does nothing, as if I never started the game.
I tried to desinstall/reinstall and delete cache several times, to no avail.
A reminder to remove meme modifications from HPM such as the at-war immigration penalty in the New World. You can find that in common/triggered_modifiers.txt

Take advantage of the fact that while you can't build your own factories with all parties you can still invest in factories in the states you'll eventually annexx when you form the NGF>Germany. You even share a lot of states with German minors so you can build factories there and annex them later with the decisions.

HPM should make it so that when rebels take over in a country a certain amount of those rebels stay as soldiers for the new regime, possibly as irregulars. All too often countries such as Russia go through a revolution just to get overthrown a few months later by different rebels. I doubt that reactionaries that just fought for a dictatorship would stand idly by while Jacobins set up a democracy.

Ally England BEFORE starting the game and develop a casus belli on Denmark for liberating Schleswig.
FUCK Clerics and Bureaucrats encourage SOLDIERS from 1836 onwards.
Before attacking denmark, sphere holstein!
Then: attack Denmark.
Make sure you sphere Saxony by stopping to influence them every time Austria intervenes.
Then form NGF and develop casus belli for Alsace.
Now attack France for Alsace (you should be swimming in soldiers).
This is important: now influence the three south german states to 'friendly' state).
You need to be able to assert hegemony against Austria.
Now attack them and occupy them until they loose GP status. Just add 'add to sphere' wargoal.
You should now be able to form Germany with all the Austrian territories and naval basis in the med,
