Not going to lie, I am not sure how to show previous broadcast like other streamers do. I have all the previous broadcasts kept though, so if I need to 're-stream' those and do whatever it is I need to do to keep them available I will.
If someone would like to spoonfeed me on how to, that would be appreciated.
I just spent an hour or two writing up a thing about how the client works, specifically why and how ini-swapping works.

As the first anon said. First witness is easiest but please consider the other witness. I also do not recommend directly watching the murder, either directly before or after itunless you plan on being the BBEG, or if you want to have witnessed the murder then make sure its in a way that leaves some wiggle room. Like, maybe you saw it from a distance or perhaps you were witnessing it in an indirect way.

Because of my LIMITED SPRITE SKILLS I was unable to animate some of the sprites his pack came with. To give him lipflap I just took his mouth from other animations and used them in one. Some emotes I couldn't turn at an angle in gimp to match his head tilt and they looked bad.
His spiral eyes emote was there, but it was a static image, so I removed it. That's probably the only one I can actually animate myself.
So, sorry, if you want more sprites, you'll have to do it yourself or get someone to.Working on a way to try and get his objection cut in in.

You don't have to, you merely point out the most important parts. Do you think it was absolutely impossible to have a team without piratepad before?
It usually winds up with only the leads talking, while the co and support do nothing but sit in pad and give everything they'd normally say. Boring to play, boring to spectate, no immersion.
Only witnesses should use piratepad, and even still it's only optional.

Really? The way I've seen it my bench mostly just posts contradictions and notes they find in the pad while still asking questions and commenting. I've found it useful when I'm looking for something to boost a theory and see something my bench wrote in the pad that helps me.

The entire point of our game is to simulate an Ace Attorney trial, if we are ignoring the entire premise behind their justice system we would be committing a terrible mistake. We don't need to follow the characters' canon stories and context to simulate a trial properly however.

Piratepad for the witnesses is a mistake.
It just doesn't work out when 2 witnesses are scripted but the rest of the court is improve.
Often the witnesses will make unintentional contradictions and when pushed on it just wall up and asspull new information that they didn't mention while getting cross examined
I'm sure it can work out great but the vast majority of the time it's just a piece of shit where the defense often can't even prove reasonable doubt that the murder didn't happen the way the evidence suggests it did and the prosecution having to spoonfeed them the 2nd wit because "it's not fair if they don't get to play"
Here's my advice as a witness: Don't collaborate with the 2nd witness at all unless you're both fucking guilty! Just give your test how you want and let them adapt theirs after hearing you go.
THIS is the real reason cases are dragging out longer... because the first witness pretty much never goes with the flow of the court and will wall up in order to set up the 2nd wit as the final boss.

Not at all, Nagito has been appearing in cases at least twice a day meanwhile characters like Patricia appear once a week at most. Also, Nagito is getting new emotes now and will get more emotes later so his usage rate should not decrease.

I'm writing a case, but I'm new to this game and am not quite sure what's needed. I have most of the thing written out, with what each witness remembers, and what then know/don't know. Is that too much or do people like full improv? I feel like full improv is kinda bad when people can just asspull random shit to get themselves out of trouble, when there's nothing outlined which is true or false.
I've actually never played so I don't know about how to start a case, and choose a story for it, but I'm sure I'll work it out later. Can you define slots for different roles? My case has 4 suspects and I needa know if the game can handle that.
When someone chooses a role, is there a way to give them a document or something which tells them what they do or don't know?
And about evidence, does it all start off in each person's inventory or can it be handed out later after things are discovered?

it sounds like you'd be more interested in premade cases. Premades basically have the entire case planned out and the players get their own docs outlying what they saw, what they should say etc (except for the benches, they still improvise to some extent)
Your gripes over improv are things that we constantly try to remain vigilant about but very rarely do these issues happen (asspulling evidence is frowned upon by anyone who is not the Detective)
As far as testimony, when doing FULL improv its best to let the witnessess decide for themselves what they saw and such, though I'm sure some wouldn't mind some extra guidance I personally am against trying to dictate what witnessess see in a full improv case

As a Support role, you merely have to catch things that the rest of your bench may have missed. Make sure you communicate with the rest of your bench and keep notes of everything related to the case.
As Witness 1, your role is to testify about facts related to the crime; typically, Witness 1 doesn't actually see the murder happening, and merely discovers the corpse. Even though show tries its best to stay true to the games, problem is that it just cuts some contents and barely adds anything. And in the end, it just end up being inferior version of the game.
Episodes 2 and 5 are just exceptions this far, but we'll see. Those two episodes are actually good.
