Something of note is when you have the Lead God watch.
It slows time down to about half of what it is when you're changing weapons. By switching over and over you can pretty much fire every magazine of every gun you own in what amounts to a second.

Found some other cool Duct Tape combo. Moonscraper + Gunslinger's Ashes. Gives you a fuckload of ammo for the Gunslinger, and once you fire a full clip of those you switch weapons and switch back and the mag is fully reloaded immediately.
Probably in general it's good to combine infinite-mag-lots-of-ammo weapon + low-ammo-but-strong weapon.

Having Alpha and Omega Bullets decreases all reload times by 50%. ETG doesn't just have "items that work well together" they have literal hidden passives when you hold multiple themed items.
The Corsair + Sense of Direction makes the Corsair's bullets actually move at a reasonable speed.

Green is the lowest color chest that's worth a key in general, no matter who you play. You can still risk it on that if you want to be a big jew, but always use a key on red/black chests (or rainbow if RNG decides it likes the cut of your jib).

Going through all the trouble of the elevator runs gets you the Akey and that's by far worth more than an the runs you probably lost trying to bring him stuff.

I.E Creating charm weapons.
Or dropping 2 of the same gun types for a upgraded one. I.E Shotgun + Sawed Shotgun should be a stronger shotgun.
The reality is that:
1. Guns are too valueable
2. It never drops when you run out of ammo on shit weapons
3. Most guns are too valueable to even attempt recycling them, which limits the guns to D chest recycling

The thing removes the "bullet" from "bullet hell" at no cost. Fightsabre does the same thing but it can only do it when reloading and it gives you curse which can come back to bite you in the form of jammed enemies/bosses and the lord. Blasphemy has no such downsides and in fact it actually still functions as a really strong piercing gun despite being a sword. It's leagues better than Excalibur could dream of being, and Excalibur is literally a gunsword.

I've recycled top tier items because they were out of ammo and I didn't feel like gambling on an unlikely ammo drop. If you don't feed it shit you can get some cool items. It's a pretty creative mechanic and has won me a few runs,

Now that I think about it, can you kill the shopkeepers? I know that the normal one starts firing at you if you shoot inside his shop.
