As a switch who leans toward sub, after a few days of primarily domming I'm reminded of why I stopped doing it. Most subs in SL are just really fucking terrible. This applies to both male and female. They don't really want to act like a sub, they just want to use someone else to live out their fantasies. Others just want to be controlled and put no actual effort into anything. Some of them are perfectly content to just use RLV toys or poseballs and literally never emote. Or talk for that matter. It's boring as fuck and there are so many people.
Then there's the matter of finding one who has both a good av and the ability to emote decently in the first place, which is rare. Back to being a sub almost all of the time for me. Not that most doms are much better desu, but I've had better luck with them than with subs.
Also it seems like pretty much every male av I see looks edgy or like a nu-male. I've been in SL a long time so it's always kinda been like this. But holy shit I just wanna see more normal good-looking guys with mesh bodies wearing suits and dress shirts.

Shoes are easy to shop for, even outside of what's actually made for your avatar. The Kemono hud allows you to hide your feet so they won't clip through, which should help. Try demos whenever possible to be sure, though.

If you can create a mesh body that uses the official standard LL body uv map then you should make a femboy body.
If not then make something you cannot create with human mesh bodies, for example aliens, monsters, robots. Aim for render like quality (people buying items do not care about polygon count, they care about how detailed the textures / model is).
You could also make a human(oid) avatar that has exaggerated / detailed anatomy in comparison to a regular mesh body. See the niramyth aesthetic as an example, it sold well even though it does not use the LL uv map. I'm sure a /fit/ female body would sell well too.

It's been an entire week since a portal opened to the pizza dimension in tern, the portal which has been growing since it's reveal brings you to a universe where everything as far as the eye can see was made of pizza. On imvu everything is colourful and exciting, on SL everything is grey and dull. Just take a look at the avatars: on imvu they are cute and sexy, on SL they are just boring. imvu rules!
IMVU is WAYYYY BETTER! But there is pros and cons on it. Second Life it looks VERY realistic but is very hard to use its confusing, but IMVU does look realistic now with the new mesh heads and is very easy to learn how to play. Pros: IMVU is getting very much better at the sign up option for new users. You get a lot more credits than two years ago, when I first signed up. Plus it's so hard choosing which avi to start out with and you have such a HUGE selection. They've even got some popular creators like Fine, Java, Lee, etc. on the new avi's. I would've LOVED to start out with a user like that. Cons: One thing that does suck is, earning credits... SERIOUSLY WHY'S THAT SO HARD IMVU? I feel they should have some activities to do like YoWorld (YoVille) does to earn credits instead of doing offers and spending real life money to simple credits. I understand that's how they make there money but not many people can afford that. Pros: I love going to chat rooms. Such a huge selection. You can find singles, friends, jobs (some jobs do gift/give credits but rarely depends on the owner of the room).

From reading the comments of sl saying ppl voting for imvu are 10 well im not, but i do get annoyed with 13 year olds on there and somehow when ppl havent dressed and look like noobs it seems like they are retarded compared to others (not disabled -_- ).
