Well, it's powerfap and wish fulfillment because that's what I enjoy, in a high fantasy setting because real life is hard to do and anyway it tends to make people geet political if you do a lot of what I want to do, plus there's less variety in the kinds of strange things you can encounter without it getting totally bizarre. Basic narrative was chosen because it puts the MC, like the player, in a scenario where you don't know a lot about the world, but it still allows me to weave in larger setting details to keep it interesting. The MC choice is actually kind of a generic self-insert character, I prototyped it with a dark elf lesbian and with a goblin trader MC, but I think a human noble is going to make more sense and be easier for people even if it doesn't stand out as much.

A comment from last thread intrigued me and I opened up the assets to several EVNs in the $15 range I owned. Rising Angels Hope leads in length of story, number of soundtrack pieces, number of backgrounds, and number of shown characters.

Look at it like this. For the game's setup you want people who are definitely, absolutely, 100% into the sex and not coerced, AND are not going to hang around afterwards and mess up your life. The platonic ideal fuckbuddy.
You can't use just normal everyday fuckbuddies or people you meet at a bar or a sex party or whatever, because then there might be complications, there might be awkwardness, you might see these people again. It's not a pure no-strings fantasy.
If you were writing Vorkosigan fanfic you could have Betan Licensed Sexual Practicioners, who are quite happy to be hired for sex and never see you again and everyone has a good time, but Earth-world prostitution comes with a lot of complications and hangups and bad connotations. I'm being 100% serious. I wish I could color that decently (and definitely do folds even halfway decent as that), but like I said blending with copics is more forgiving because it's easy to overblend with digital and even with Ctrl-Z you might not be able to tell when you've blended too much.
I don't remember if it was here or not but someone said something about how sketches look better because there are usually multiple lines so your eye picks up on the best ones regardless of if they're connected, and when you do lineart sometimes it loses the expression or action or whatever. I think the same thing happens with coloring. Traditional copic coloring you can control blending better than digital and you have a better feel for what's working or not (provided you know what you're doing in the first place of course).

Maybe I have different connotations for the word than other people do. When I hear 'tomboy' I tend to picture a girl who's rather rough-and-tumble. Dirty, blue-jeans, likes to climb trees, walks around with a baseball bat over her shoulder... that kind of character.
