This happens in Dogma though. What Fable's magic really excels at is that it goes into cool "what if" magics, not everything is designed around attack. I guess this makes more sense for Fable because you're a God-mode solo hero rather than a member of a 4 party squad.
Some of the cool spells though are the likes of physical shield, which creates a magic barrier around you. Berserk turning you into a giant muscular beast of a man capable of slapping serious shit. Ghost sword summoning with magical blades that fight for you and a multi-arrow spell is nice too.
Having a spell that lets you slow down time itself for everything except you is broken as fuck but really fun. Being willpower focused giving you gradually more and more magical leylines over your body as you get more and more powerful in that specific focus of leveling is way past cool.

Cutscene shortly after you finish the battle. You either have to be good at time or spam the screenshot button to get it.
But yeah, that attack can be bullshit. He uses it once during the first 2 healthbars and once during the last 2 health bars. Just bee careful during these points and if you see him move towards the center portion of the map run away and spam the follow button.

Did you search Youtube Anon? Killing Daimon as a sorcerer is 2nd cheese mod, the only easier way is as a yellow claw. You enchant yourself with holy affinity / pact and spam your focused bolt into his face. It even auto aims for you. If you archistaff is pre-BBI purification you can buy demon periphats from Fournival in Grand Soren to increase magic damage - they stack up to 4.

Yeah I had a hard time with it as a sorc as well. I didn't want to spam holy bolts because cheese. What I did to get around his instakill bullshit was equip the fireball ring and use some periapts.
The fireballs are easy enough to aim and with 4 demon periapts it should do enough damage to make him cancel his move.

dinput8 mod, I use it to get clear skies in post game. It has a bunch of tools like that menu to show you your pawn inclination's ranking. I use it to make sure he is still Pioneer/Utilitarian/Scather after playing and battling monsters for a long time.

The issue is with Dragon's Dogma. The models don't have unique faces, they use a generic face then it edit some for each NPC. Which means extracting an NPC model is difficult unless someone built a tool to handle it.

I've dumped a couple hundred hours on DDDA when it released on PC, and found it amazing, although with a few very defined flaws.
Do you think they've sold enough on PC now to consider making a second DD game?
Cause honestly, if they took DDDA's gameplay, gave it even more variety, made the world a lot larger with stuff to see and memorable locations, and built an actual unique lore over what story we have on the first game, it could be one of the best RPGs of all time.

So I pirated dragons dogma, and it apparently came with a boatload of DLC specific quests and shit. Anyhow, the issue is in that I completed the quest "bury the dead", and received solar armor, and it seems that the basic mooks can't literally do shit to me now .
I haven't gotten really far, but should I be even using the DLC stuff given it's my first play through? Seems kinda OP; or will the game get exponentially harder enemies really soon?

Probably not. Actually, a lot of us dress for fashion rather than stats after a certain point anyway. The really good armor is more for your pawn, because they're not smart enough to git gud.

Have you tried any other salesmen? There's a guy who'll set up in the quarry and my personal favorite hanging out next to Devilfire Grove. Also, if you can make it up to Greatwall, there's a shitload of high-tier armor for sale up there.
What class are you? Jayce near Devilfire is best for yellow equipment, Mathias at Greatwall is best for Red and Blue stuff is everywhere.

I haven't really progressed that much past grand soren, when I went past windbluff tower I got raped by some manticore looking thing so I just assumed I was supposed to keep doing quests in areas I've already been.
I'm currently that advanced form of the fighter, with longswords, but I think I'll go back to sword and shield.
