VS codes are basically passwords. Set the preferences to Anyone > Use Vs Code > vgptg

It's hard to say, really.
Discussion would become harder in /fgg/ because of the sheer number of games there already, along with our smaller population of fans.
/vp/ -could- work, but I see the Gardevoir general faggots flooding the threads, trying to force their shitty discord into the mix and making the whole place unbearable, along with other kinds of shitposters.
On the other hand, we'd probably bring in more people, mostly those who don't know about /vg/ (newfags and the like who think 4chan is just porn and /v/-/vp/) but the extra people and slower board traffic would allow for longer survivability.
Nintendo general, I have no idea, but we'd probably be hampered underneath all of the other games, making discussion almost impossible, likely worse than /fgg/

Gardevoir spammers are tolerable (enough) that it's practical.
Basically, /ptg/ is the only thing. If we can't make it here, I certainly won't be following it to any general or board. We should just make these threads weekenders on /v/ to draw some attention where we can revive /ptg/.

Battling a series of random opponents with no interruptions, for example no story or other shit?
I hate it when fighting games don't have a proper arcade mode, really ruins everything. I only care about casual single player play by the way.

The single player has a sort-of arcade mode, but it's six predetermined (but will change if you exit-enter) fighters in a row with piss-easy AI, then you have to sit through a thing mashing A, then do it again until you get to a small tournament (fighting 3 characters) then after that is a "boss".
Repeat this a few times and all the single player is finished.
The hardest AI in the game will read you perfectly to fuck you up for a few seconds, then completely job, then perfect read, then job, cont.
Single player fucking sucks.

Really disappointed cause a pokemon fighting game sounds really good in theory.
I could see people getting some fun of it in multiplayer but I'm just not interested. I play fighters for some quick casual fun and that means if the game doesn't have a decent arcade mode, it just doesn't work for me.
Maybe when they lower the price. But what am I saying, this is nintendo, they never lower the bloody prices on their games. Sure as hell ain't paying 55€ for it.

It's a game I've wanted since I first played gen 1 and, while none of my top 20 Pokemon are in the game, I can still have fun purely on the basis of what it is.
I understand your frustration about the lack of price drops, but it's not Nintendo, it's the stores themselves.
See, with a lot of companies, their games usually consist of yearly releases meant to be dropped for the next iteration or games with little replayability, so the games drop in price because so many of them are returned and people aren't willing to pay close to retail price for an older game.
On the other hand, Nintendo's games are made to be enjoyed for lengthy periods of time (not the case for them all, but correct for the most part) and since very few copies of good games are returned, along with people willing to still pay the full price many months later, retailers can still reliably charge close to full price, even for pre-owned.
Point being: fuck EB Games (or GAME, GameStop or regional equivalent)
