Trying to get to my Queen's Wrath rank up to 3 so I can get the Boolean Gemini scout rifle, right now I only have 1150 of Rank 1 from doing 3 bounties and turning in one Etheric Light from Skolas's Revenge (which was a hassle in itself to find a fireteam when I don't know anyone/don't have a mic).
Why are they only worth 150 reputation and why do you have to be in a fireteam to get them as a reward? Is there an easier way to get Etheric Light?

The 34 prison used to grant an etheric light as well, though that was when it was endgame. Can't say they didn't change it since, haven't checked.

Works great, just shoot enemies and finish them off with Scorch. With the increased recharge you can melee really often too.
Also if you kill multiple enemies with a Brimstone explosion you'll generate multiple orbs with Sunburst. It's awesome.

Also Song of Flame is great now, and a 7-10 second cooldown on Scorch is a great buff. They also made Radiance just plain better, you basically have Praxic tier cooldowns now. The only part of Sunsinger that was nerfed was the duration on Fireborn radiance, which is irrelevant since the rez is the only reason anyone uses it, and flame shield.

Does annihilate apply to scatter grenades? The hunger is a pretty nice buff, it charges well over half a grenade. Embrace the void would allow you to throw out 3 grenades pretty fast, but I think a bloomed punch killing all the thralls slapping your shit has better utility.

Fuckkkkkkkk bout to try out Challenge here after a break here. Soloing the 41 boss isnt too hard just time consuming but that's to be expected. You have 3 safe spots...1: Where you walk in the room. 2: To the very left of the room. 3: Behind the structure on the right of the room
So pick a spot and clear adds with Zhalo most importantly the centurions. Once you got most of them down keep 1 yellow alive, then run to the next safe zone quick as you can. Basically clear about 75% of the adds then you simply ignore them thus allowing you to damage the boss safely (clearing the normal centurions means less axiom darts flying at you). Once you make it to your next safe zone this time you focus on damaging the boss when you see him. Rinse and repeat this stragety and you will be good. Simply know to run to next safe zone if adds spawn or the boss rushes you.
Now the boss spawns adds when you damage him enough AND after a certain amount of time, taking damage seems to speed up when he spawns them but if you simply run around ignoring adds after a certain time he will spawn more so be ready.

I was 330 at that time, which is 2 levels below you. Aside from those two max gear drops i also got a 333 chest at golgoroth, and i haven't gone any further. I'd assume that the exotic chest, sisters and Oryx might also drop some 333+ gear. Running from start to beating golgoroth takes about 25 minutes with a decent group, which is not hard to find right now on LFG. It's faster than grinding Variks rep, the only downside is that you can't repeat it.

it really doesn't. if you get a decent group you run it within 50 minutes now that oryx is 330. Assuming you get one good drop each boss, that's a good drop every 10 minutes. Including armor, primary and heavy, unlike CoE which only drops shells, specials and class items.

because every game of CoE you can only get 1 (maybe 2) pieces of gear at most, any they are scaled to your light. So someone with a 320 ghost might get a 325. While KF has multible chances of dropping 330+ gear. In fact yesterday I played KF on my hunter and got a full 330 set along with 331 boots while my warlock that I grinded CoE on only got a 329 ghost

I solo'd it at 318.
The burn is primary weapons. You should be able to do it. It's instant revives too. You don't have to wait :30 for a revive so if you get in trouble you can just camp until your partner can revive. If you did PoE from the HoW DLC you'll know where the "safe" spots are to down the bosses.
If you have to wipe it restarts the round with the same amount of points you started that round with so there,'s really no penalty for dying

But since we're getting anecdotal now: I hopped into an LFG group at Totems, did totems, WP, and Golgoroth within 15 minutes for a 335 ghost, a 335 heavy and a 333 chest, plus a 322 ghost, a 320 heavy and 328 boots. Within 15 minuts. I didn't get lucky for an exotic but i think i still beat you in light increase/time
I'll give you the score card, individual score is unarguably the best way to go for a guaranteed 330 drop.

Then grind strikes, doing heroic strikes once you hit the recommended LL for them. Move onto the level 41 PoE once you get better geared. Also see if you can tag along for a KE raid run to get some good gear, too.
