Biggest problem with unarmed right now is that it has no real advantage compared to melee. You cant use unarmed weapons in power armor (and the power armor fists are weaker than unarmed so it doesnt make up for it at all). certain chems like fury only apply to melee and not unarmed, and it doesnt do as much damage as melee.

pro-tip. starting your character off with a maxed special stat will allow you to go past the special point cap of 10 with bobbleheads (special book doesnt work past 10)
