Dev here, kinda I guess. Inciting Incident is what you'd call a "common route", and the next release will branch directly onto the different routes. Though Inciting Incident still has a self-contained story in it (so it's not really an aimless common route like what you could see in a lot of other VNs)

That's normal for a well advertised kickstart. All the big spenders have likely already spent their money. That's why they had so few backers and so much money for the first day. They might make it, but it isn't a sure thing at all. It isn't something that goes at the same constant rate until the end. There's always a fall off.
