Actually Sasuke's fighting style is relying on using tools and setting up traps, this is best seen when he fights Orochimaru in the forest of Death, and also how Sarda seems to fight with her shuriken tricks.

Well yeah once you get a god power with literally no drawbacks but a timed delay on sing said powers that's all you'd want to use.
But still in Boruto all he seems to use is his sword and his new teleportation power, only using Susanoo when it's necessary.

I suppose that's one problem I have with a lot of anime out there. They start off with good fights, but the power creep causes fights to be less about good animation and more about big flashes.
